I know this post was several months ago and possibly there are many other posts in response that I haven't read yet but I just couldn't help but respond. I have the same problem with my wife and I think it gets at the core of something much bigger. They don't believe that we can make money at this and they see it as us just wasting our time. I think you need your wife's support which I guess will only come when you can buy her something with your forex profits or even better quit your job. I guess it just is not that easy because she doesn't give you the time because she thinks it's just a game which causes less success but on the other hand if you could succeed she would give you the time. I guess even mild success would get you the time you need which in turn would lead to much more success but still it's not easy.

If you get an opposite signal in the middle of a trade do you ignore it? I mean if you went long and you then in the middle of the trade see a red rf signal, do you ignore it or exit?

I look at the price, how it reacts from the band and i only take trades with the trend or in the range, not against the trend. I don´t take double top/bottm if it is against the trade.. do you know what i mean? And I don´t take 2 or more trades at the same time.. only 1 open trade, because of my small account size etc. At the moment i´m only trying to master the easy things.. I think they are enough to make some money

P.S.: I had some things to do today, so missed a lot of trades and took only the one, that was stopped out.

I am still new at this but there wasn't much action imho. That is to say that all of the pairs were mildly striking and not retracing to the opposite band.

there are some other opportunities on gbp/usd and aud/usd too, but on the 2 charts you already can see, that it was a good day ;-)

I think I wasn't trading at those times. During the London Session I trade from work. I work as a security guard but maybe I was busy during those times. They all came around 7AM GMT right? Probably making some coffee since that was the beginning of my shift. lol

After further review I see why I didn't take it. On my chart it looks like ms and on yours it looks s. If it was s then I would have taken it at the middle band but since it looked s on mine I passed. See my posted chart.

Also how do you monitor multiple charts? I find it hard to always go back and forth from chart to chart. I was trading on the 15 min chart with an alarm to remind me every 15 mins to check my charts but an alarm every 5 min is overboard. There are the rf alerts but those only alert you for s and ms trades. bt trades require no rf signal if i remember correctly.

i think you zoom to much your charts, so it seems like ms... zoom out your charts to 10 Pips distance on the right side, do you know what i mean? look at my charts, so you will see ;-)i have no alert here.. the most times i´m on my notebook while my study, so i can always look at the charts.

That's not what I mean. I mean do you constantly switch back and forth from chart to chart? How do you ensure that you don't miss trades? Or do you just trade one pair? I personally go crazy if I am always switching back and forth. I try to do something while I trade to keep me relaxed. It's a problem if you have to always be switching back and forth.
