Hi X-Man and fellow traders,

I'm currently in 3 swing trades:

1. AUDUSD and AUDCAD: both pairs were bouncing from the MA and TDI was coming off outside the blue band. Entry was after the first blue candle. Although AUDCAD candle turned red after my entry, I held on as AUDUSD was still blue.

2. EURNZD: not a A+ trade as TDI was not outside the band, but I liked the past reaction to the MA. Although one of the candle turned blue I kept the trade on.

Currently: AUDCAD + 30p, AUDUSD: +80p and EURNZD +75p.

I believe someone mentioned this earlier. 4HR AUDJPY looks to be setting up. TDI coming up from below the blue vol bands and price action seems to be reversing off the 60EMA.

Just closed EURNZD at the bottom of the 4H channel....+107p for initial stop loss of 70p, so RR of 1.5.

Took a short trade at open of Frankfurt....just closed at BE.....waiting for PA to show another entry.....maybe NY session open.
Last nights EUR/JPY going well for now.

Question: Is a trailing stop of 40 pips appropriate?

What gave you a clue to wait for the NY open? I thought the long when price broke above the 1.3195-1.3200 level was valid.

The red arrow is the break of the resistance area level I am talking about. Might I have missed something

There was no TDI cross for a long until the open of the following candle (after the one you marked with a red arrow). By the time your red arrow candle closed, it had already pulled back, leaving a long upper wick, indicating no entry for me. And as I stated in the previous post, I was already in a short trade that went nowhere.....ranging London session so far today.

So for you the OPEN of the candle having a cross counts...not the cross occuring when the candle moves or changes color right?

Mine is going down as well. However, you will note that the 4H channel (in green) is up and PA has bounced from the MA. So for me it is a good set up. Conservative TP would be top of the daily channel.

Iīm also searching for the 4H swing trade template. I searched the whole attachments but couldnīt find it.

I would build it on my own but iīm a newbie on the mt4
it would be great if someone could give me that, so i can start backtesting, like i do with the 1H methode

Correct....the most productive entries are when the TDI cross occurs at the OPEN of the first or second candle (and a change of candle color). It is even better when the TDI is coming out of overbought (68 line) or oversold (32 line).

I'm new to the system and trying to get acquainted to it. I'm starting with EU as suggested.
So did anyone went long on EU at london opening?

  1. PA broke asian high
  2. Green was crossing red at 1 o'clok angle
  3. Both medium and long term trends were up

Nonetheless that trade would have sucked it seems!
Was that a valid setup?

Hi,

just open trade seeing H1 inside bar.
small initial SL 22 pips (R) above top of PAC.
target TP ~ 44 pips about 2R.
Will move to BE+2 when market move +1R.
