DislikedThanks for the explanation. I've been thinking about momentum (rate of change) quite a bit. I'm wondering what would happen if you used higher derivatives of time for the rate of change like jerk or jounce. I think it may help to better point out the source of a move. Never seen an indicator for higher rates of change, will probably get one made eventually.

Dislikednever heard those terms used before...I use a simple slow stochasitc for momentum and time cycles. You get the fast (15m) rolling over at supp/resistance enough to break down the higher time frames 1hr 4hr from overbought or oversold and you'll have plenty of momentum behind you on the trade. I remember one trade where I went back and looked...it ran for 200 pips...what confirmations there were....every time frame was overbought slow and fast 5, 15, 30, 1hr, 4hr all turned together...wow. The reversal came on a spike high into one of my volume...Ignored
