i am only trading spot Gold so the spread increase has had no effect on me!

That would be because of spread widening on the real market being represented by a gap on their market maker platform. I have market maker accounts with several brokers that also showed a gap. Only my ECN broker's account had no gap.
I was getting executions of 8 - 10 seconds earlier.

Now I'm getting trade timeouts.. Connection dropped and couldn't log back on to MT4 server for a minute or two..

I had a few position open with Go Markets on the Euro. Some short, some long.

The net result was 0.05 lots short.

This morning my margin level (Equity/Balance) fell below 50 por cent so Go Market automatically close my olderest trade.

The net result changed from 0.05 short at 1.3025 to 0.05 long at 1.3040.

They didn't send me and e-mail or give me any warning that a position has been closed and as the result the net position of my trades had changed from short to long.

Please be aware. Other brokers just hedge the open position and let the trader decide what is his/her next move. NO GO MARKET.

I have been with G M for about one year now trading live accounts.

Right from the begining i have had problems. However, about two months ago i noticed the data feeds became even worst and waiting to place trades/exits has been one of the worst platforms i have used. As we all know stop hunting does accur, as we all know brokers etc all deny this.

Data spikes, gaps, OMG, need i say more.

Customer service has been shocking to say the least.

I opened a 5k account with GO, at the same time i open a 5k account with another broker www.dukascopy.com My GO acount has only remained at 5k and my dukas account , open at the same time is now at $24,570 in profit.

I am also looking at moving the Go account to Vantage FX, Any opinions? Or i may even go to Axi.

My advice is to stay well away from Go Markets, unless you want to get ripped.

A question for the more experienced trader.

Is Marging Level calculated as Equity/margen in use x 100%.?

Is this is the case then to have a Margin Level of 50% the free margin has to be negative. Is this correct?.

There is not way my account had reach not even near a 100% Margin level.

From 1.3025 to 1.3040 at 0.05 lot is around -7 dollars.

Absolute no way.

Just be aware. Look like the problems with GoMarket are a lot worse that wider spreads.

Not a broker.

I am with GO and Dukas, i will close the GO account tomorrow and looking at either VantageFX or AXI. and keep the account with Dukas. They ROCK.

Sorry about that post, Just researching who to go with and thats what Vantage are offering, spreads don't seem to bad either. I am not here to promote them. Because i have never traded with them.

That was to my email from them. I am sure if you ask you will get the same. I am pushing anything and i will not comment on this again.

I was a happy customer with Go until a few months ago, I went to Vantage but found their execution speeds from my Sydney VPS to be erratic and slow, also their data feed is severely filtered. I wonder what they're up to? For these reasons I moved over to Axitrader.

As you may see from the Axitrader thread, when I first opened my account the spreads were wider than the demo by about 0.4 pips (around the same as you get in a rebate). However, checking today it appears that the spreads of live & demo are now nearly identical. Also, there are many more ticks flowing in than either Go or Vantage had, their execution speed from my VPS is consistent and as fast as Go used to be when they were good (around 300ms). I haven't had any problems with disconnections either. So, pretty happy with Axi so far...

Refund FX, they called me and were certainly friendly enough, but I haven't been with them a full month yet, so can only assume they will pay up in a timely manner.
