I noticed that when PA break through the 60EMA then it goes to the 200 EMA. Look at my chart below and see what the E/U is doing.
So like this i can use the 60EMA and 200EMA for entries.

can you tell me , do you sometimes more or less ignore the tdi on a 15 min tf ?
cos i see on no.1-- the tdi isnt doing much , (but i see what you mean on candles.)
no.2 --did you enter after red pin bar ?(here tdi did look positive )
no 3--why was this a loss? would you have entry on 2nd. red candle
and close at next res or at b/e?
no. 4--here again see what you mean with candles (but again tdi quite negative, same as no.1, )
no. 5 --everything look good ,why was profit tgt not at 1st res , how did you know to let it run to 2nd res (maybe you have third eye too !!)

Hi all weekender,

the start of week we can check for a short setup on E/U ..better as G/U but can effect on corralation so be patient if the short not starts fast on the level it closed on Friday..Despite of this I have ordered from Friday 12968 already sell ( from a decent value) so I will not add positions and will see if its can really push hard down. My Tp is on level 12850, but market conditions needs to be watch carefull, the trend can push the Pa down around the level 12730. And yes I don't know the future.. will try to find the correct wind to fly

Thanks for sharing your system Xman. I read the entire TMS thread but for some reason I could not grasp what they were trying to explain about what to look for in price action. Now that I am more than half way through this thread I am confident that I understand what to look for in price action. Your explanations and examples have been very helpful, and so have the other members who have posted.

I plan on testing the system this coming week. Hopefully I can pick up a few pips like the rest of you.

Now I will be back testing through the weekend to build confidence.

In answer to your Queries you must first understand that what I am trying to show you is that you must be proactive and flexible in the Market. What works well one day may not the next. The method is sound but the market may not give you the signals you are looking for, due to the market being Range bound, waiting for News, lack of Traders due to holidays, there are many reasons. Notice how PHx62 and Lazy Lobster made pips just before Xmas, not as many as usual but they explained why and how they adapted to changing Conditions in the market.So look for opportunities on Different Time Frames. Be it smaller or larger.
I went to 15 min and it worked ok for me as I use it in conjunction with 1 hr anyway. By the way this wouldnt of worked for me as well the next day but I was unable to trade anyway. X-man found a nice signal by going up to 4hr on Fri and using it to enter on his 1 hr system, the premise is the same but you adapt. Thats why Phx 62 and X-man are so successful. They use the method but are adaptable by looking for Breakouts of Supp/Res, Looking at different Timeframes, and other relevant information.This will come to you with Experience. My trades on Thurs were trying to Scalp 20 pips per trade, I managed to make 55. I like Inside reversal bars off Supp/Res and Rev Pin Bars especially with the trend. I generally dont take too much notice of Tdi on Smaller Time Frames or any other Indicator, But if the Tdi opens up and I am in the trade it just gives me a little more confidence to let the trade run. All I am trying to show you is you dont have to be a one trick pony. X-Man has stated his method works on all time Frames, He just prefers 1hr but thru exhaustive backtesting he has the foresight to adjust to Market Conditions as they are at the time and act on them.
In answer to a query regarding different Patterns I look for the Formation to set up a bit like a Fish Hook, or a half cup or saucer and at the Bottom I look for X-Mans Signal. The only difference in my Plan is I dont BUY at the Close I take the high + 3 pips and Spread. But that is only on my formation set up. You are usually out by the time the Full Pattern is Completed. And I have posted a couple of charts, regarding Space, and Patterns. The Space one is of no particular pair, no particular Time frame. The Ticks are not Indications of where to enter. just to show you what I mean by SPACE in the Context of Trading. The concept is basically and simply a small black void behind a candle. Notice also X-Mans 4hr Set ups in that Chart. Hope this helps and answers your queries,

Your last post today (saturday) is what actually made the concept of space finally click with my understanding. Course last time I looked at it I was severly sleep deprived. What I find interesting about it is that you are identifying a trend in a different way by drawing attention to something people don't normally look at: Nothing and emptiness. You can say a break of S & R, but this concept of space tells one how to go looking for it. Very well done and thank-you. I am going to try this perception type technique next week and in my back studies. I could see S & R breaks before, but this distinction puts into practice what I have been internalizing about S & R.

i really like the way you put the comments actualy on the charts , as this makes it so much easier to understand what you are trying to teach us , and now i 'm starting to look automaticaly for the space you refer to, and realise to try to match tf with market conditions .

Sorry, I failed to mention the 2nd chart is more about the patterns rather then just Space. I dont care whether your Trading Cotton, Corn or Condoms. These patterns occur all the time in every market and have done for a hundred years. The market is the Door, and X-Man has graciously given you a key. But in Forex remember I use the highs not close as Entry Criteria with these patterns as it seems to cut out a lot of Fakeys. I believe it has more to do with being a 24 hour Market then anything else. Used Visually it helps to better determine some of X-Mans reversal Entries. What you did last week with X-Mans method is no different to how you will trade next week . It just gives you a different visual perspective and with X-Mans Method its like coming to a Knife Fight with a Gun. Excuse the Analogy LOL.

Can you please tell me what your setting is for the 4 EMA, 60 EMA and 200 EMA? Is it set to Medium H/L or close or something else? Thank you very much for sharing both your systems.

Also would like some clarification on your 1hr Eur/Usd strategy, that even though you mark your vertical line 2 hrs before London open and 1 hr before NY open, you actually don't trade until after the actual open. You're just looking at price action before the open to get a feel of market direction before the actual open, of which you use the 1-3 candle rule. Please clarify. Thank you once again.

The green arrow shows the other candle you posted ( the first picture).

The blue arrows are the double candle signal to go short.

What i still dont understand is the difference between green candle and blue candle trade (of which you said only blue would be a valid trade) - they are exactly the same trades in terms of structure just in reverse - it is an inside bar in both cases.

Entered short at 1.5547 with a stop at 1.5580 just above the swing high. My first trade with this method. Will report back with results.

It always seems like its a holiday somehwere eh? Anyone experienced know if we should expect some movement tonight or should we just kinda' sit on our hands? I'm inclined toward sittin' on me hands because its holiday and a monday (low volume in the first place). Dang chinese new year... I see the Euro making a break upward on the 15M, but it feels like a fakey or just closing the gap 20 pips away.... Maybe I should invest my money in a rope to tie myself with tonight because I'm feelin' if I trade I might as well hang myself out to dry. Must ..resist.. The settings for the MAs on the 4H is typical price , exponential.

Yes you are correct about the 1H method. I like to get a feel to whats happening in the market before i make trades thats for the London session but for the second vertical line i will take the trades as i have already been watchin the market since the london opening
