Do a google search for "women make better traders" and you'll find articles about studies that suggest that women do make better traders, overall.
One possible reason...

The chart is GBPUSD, H1. My blue fork would be the Andrews for what you drew as a channel, but which is -- because of the pivots, identical to a Mod.Schiff of that same blue fork (purple on my chart).
However, my preference is usually to stick with the highest-highs and lowest-lows for pivots. That would suggest the black Andrews fork. It's Mod.Schiff (magenta) and Schiff (silver) are shown also, along with "quartiles".
There's a fight right now between the blue and black Andrews forks.
Comparing the ModSchiff's, overall I think the magenta ModSchiff has better resonance, and certainly caught the very bottom best, but the purple ModSchiff also has some good resonance as well.

I used to get all emotional jacked when in trades, doing every goofy theory you can imagine, of course things that used to work as little as 3 years ago in the forex don't necessairly work today, as traders we need to adapt, to the higher frequencies that are present in the markets and make up 50% of todays volume.
Since getting back to pitch forks abd for me identifing the most significant swings to plot them on was always the challange, that when I started playing with zig-zag combinations, to help me, what i've done is multiply on MT4, the standard default setting by 2, making it a dashed line, and multiplying standard default by 4 making it a sloid line, has allowed me to see markets alittle more clearly, with regards to most revelent swings, to do fibs off of, and plot forks.
I do agree, the male ego is a beast to over come and has taken me years of frustrations, mastering myself, I think getting in touch alittle more with you womanly side is'nt a bad thing for the male trader, does'nt mean you have to wear high heels while trading of course....lol
Pips4life i know what your talking about in your chart, but 1 thing i dont like to look at your chart much because too many lines that not necessary much. for me personally if i see too many in the chart my brain start going crazy. anyway here is my big look at the gbp
Here are some schiff, and traditional forks on the swissy, I have a current long position intraday, made 92 pips on the kiw and 170 pips on the euro. taking this long on the swissy intrday, see alittle uncertain in the markets, my bias is still weaker dollar, but do some some setiment shifting higher tiem frames on some pairs, time will tell, trade waht we see, not what we think...or is that the other way around...lol
I've been testing and playing around with this some lately to see what I could find and this CAD fork looks to be doing really well. I don't know if I'm applying this correctly but it is hitting some swings unbelievably...it's calling for the CAD to turn right now, if it hasn't already.
short at the moment looking for prior lows now as a target...I found this
upsloping fork. with some confluence areas...don't know if we'll get up there, but my orders are in.
