Glad you noticed it. Had various battles here over the last months telling the people to count correctly.

But it seems to get a bad habit to ignore the EW basics.

In this way this place gets useless......., sadly.

The thing is:

If everyone creates his own EW style/counting, the result will be chaos.

There is one book of rules that withstand the times. And that are the rules of R:N. Elliott, Frost and Prechter.

Maybe you take the rules of Neeley, too. But keep in mind: Neeley's counting is relatively young. So we have to see over time.

Everytime I hear people complain about Elliott wave, that they feel they need new rules, guidelines, they first should consider their count to simply be wrong.

Regarding a wave 1 / wave 4 overlap: Prechter stated, that the overlap has to be meaningful (or such of that kind). an overlap by a few pips in especially Forex I am most of the time willing to tolerate on the smaler degrees.

hey guys i just started reading that book and was trying a wave count for eur/usd. After some brainstorming, this is what i could come up with.
