That is exactly what i am talking about. Is there something you look at that would give you a clue about a continuation in during the NY session even with the pullback candles or another signal you use. (not looking for 100% accuracy if that is your impression, just looking to get better) I will try to find an example of what I am talking about. By the way is the compliation still a working progress. No rush.

The closest I found was on the 3rd of January. Trending up most of the sessions

So london is starting to make some sense but NY seems difficult to trade the pullback/reversal if the price has already moved in london open session.

X-man what do you look for or how do you trade NY if you already scored your pips in london open session. Senior members feel free to advise as well.

My experience is that IF (like now) the trend is strong I would NOT trade counter London session direction. As far as I am concerned early/pre US open weak counter trend signals should not be considered. The pre US fake out is just as typical as LO head fake IMHO.

So yet again the answer is stick with the trend.

What is going on today in the London Session? Looking at the 15 tf to fine tune entries but seems every pullback candle is a headfake.

Brifx:

I tried to do a 15m trade this morning and got out -10 pips. There is a holiday here in the states... MLK day... I think that is affecting the london session, but also since it is a monday we have lower liquidity anyways. I am trying to remember not to overtrade myself. My analagy today is its like a slow day fishing. Head fakes will happen on the 15M and I try to keep a sharp eye to get out with small losses when they happen and then try to watch PA even more closely for clues.ACTUALLY - scratch that, will not trade today as the PA is a Wonky Mess in my opinion. Be back tommorrow guys! It's off to the daily charts for me later.

Welcome redoy300 but you will have to review posts from Page 1 to get info you require, we cannot keep going over old ground as it just clutters up thre thread. We all have to do the hard yards

Thanks LL and Maudur. Knew it was a bank holiday but did not think it would spike up and down like this. See what happens on the NY open.

Hi to all and particurlarly to Xman....!

I'm following this thread for 2 days and currently going through it. I appreciate especifically the swing strategy mainly for its simplicity so this morning I gave it a try on the following pairs:

EURCAD: sell based on 60 SMA bounce and TDI outside blue bands. TP is bottom of the daily channel...
AUDCHF: same that eurcad but on the buy side.
GBPCHF: double bottom (although outside of the daily channel) and TDI in extreme sell down.

Currently all positions are in positive territory.....!!

I've a doubt...

I closed GBPCHF this morning at 60 SMA for + 90 pips.... May reenter later with a close above SMA.

Still holding the other 2 trades. Current positions:
EURCAD: +100 pips
AUDCHF: +47 pips....

My SHI channel is set on the daily TF.
It looks like it didnt adjust in the picture.
But look at the TDI and the 60EMA its a perfect trade, you wouldnt need a SHI channel as you can see PA under the 60EMA

Thanks X-Man, but all the merit is yours. That were textbook trades as per your rules...

Just closed EURCAD at the bottom of the daily channel for +120 pips....! Holding on AUDCHF currently at +60 pips. Will let it run until midline of the daily channel.

Really a great system with simple rules...!!

A+ examples would be nice to see or maybe a more detailed explanation/ or pictures. The 4hr trade has not clicked for me yet no matter how many times i read it. I am hoping the lightbulb moment will soon arrive. I want to take some demo trades but not sure what to focus on.

Thanks
