If France loses its AAA, as is likely, the EFSF will likely lose its AAA. That’s bad news for the bailout fund which has been struggling to do its job as it is…

The lose of the AAA is also a political blow to Sarkozy, who faces an uphill battle to stay in the Elyse Palace.
