based on 60ema and 4ema cross up and TDI agreeing with it.

A quick 45 pips down from entry (70 from the high) is not to be sneezed at. You cannot control the market all you can do is control what you will do in reaction to what it offers you.

Personally I think rejection of an area identified in advance as a possible turn level with a good 1hr candle set up in direction of trend with an exit target of the Asian low support level is about a good a set up as it gets.

Not to mention that if you were long you could have exited with some profit and looked to get short. Instead of perhaps waiting for a stop to get hit.

I have 8 rsi with 8 sma on it (the old fozzy set up) at the office and that crossed 1 candle earlier than TDI.

I entered when the low of the first red candle was broken. I believe that is how Ph62 normally enters trades like this. Is that correct Ph? Xman is a little more aggressive, he may have entered at the open of the second red candle is that right xman?

Ph62, I know you've mentioned that if the pa looks good, you extend the tp from 50 to 100. What specific signs do you look for to do this?

even though i entered correctly price kept pulling back 30 pips stopping me out at BE. Checking the 15 min chart seemed to be my downfall today

This was checking with the 1 hour as well

Today was a nice easy trade
Went short at the opening of the second red candle and scored me a nice 70 pips
SL would be a small 25 pips
TP1 would be set at 25 pips
TP2 would be let to run or set at 2 times which is at 50

hello guys,

i was trying to do a little bit of backtesting of the 4 hour method using simulator (vHands). what is puzzling for me is that i didnt notice that the shi channel is moving at all (when i say `move` i mean repaints. which in my opinion should repaint, considering it is calculated using daily data). Am i missing something?

Hi hm,

We trade S3 on h1 TF. But checking M15 is nothing wrong and in fact M15 can help us fine tune our entry.
we must always reconcile M15 with H1 and H1 with H4.
We all know that 4x M15 candle make a H1 candle, and 4x H1 candles make a H4 candle.
Question is: can you see how a H1 and H4 candle would form when you are on M15 chart TF?

EU has a double inside bar in the Asian session and breakout was high probability. This is a good PA setup. See attache chart

One method that takes the emotion out of watching pa go against you is once you enter a trade, set your sl, tp, and be point and don't look at your charts until the next hr.

I have done that plenty of times. Only thing that results is a SL. I need to get better at looking at the 15 min with the 1 hour and strong vs weak candle observation. It helped me to some extent this week. but we shall see. Also Xmans complilation should help as well. so I can figure out when to adjust my SL
