Agree. December ended the 1st week with the rate cut...the rest was thin air once the FA support 1.334x was taken.

Now is getting very interesting, US and Europe in important macro divergences while rate differentials are getting tighter (prolly a new ECB cut coming soon), just risk/panic on EZ debt is/will hold us from going back to easy direct correlation with a strong dollar hand in hand with stocks rallying....

The now annoying EZ debt problems without a clear definition (whatever the final outcome) will be a pain in the ass creating noise across the board...

noise and volatility is all good from a purely trade perspective, my sell button works just as good as my buy, just need to keep an ear to the ground for major breaking news surrounding ez debt...

Well agree with volatility not with noise. The main problem is not selling EZ fears but that selling debt fears will be a lot more complicated now with US on the launching platform for a rally. So whatever the market (rally stocks or sell the euro), we will have contradictory forces clashing making the moves a lot less "efficient".

I prefer volatility when main markets are aligned ...whatever the side...

i'm on very short turn arounds so intraday trends work good for me, just can't be dealing with thin choppy range bound price action..
