Today could've been a good day but I took a +46 from london and squandered it all in the opening of NY during the first hour of wonkiness.

Your SL must have been too tight, I rode that baby for 114 pips.
Still on demo though, confidence rising by the day.
Should go live after Non-Farm Payroll roller coaster.
Let it turn and find your entry.

What type of setup is valid: 1.you open a trade after a candle closed and TSI crossed or 2.you open a trade emmidiately after TDI crossed and dont wait for signal candle to close? Should candle close above/below 4ema? Thank you,

Hi Thrax
Can you provide the settings and shi channel type you use, as my chart indicators don,t look at all like yours?
Thanks

Hi Mate

In the setting on thr Shi Channel, set the timeframe to 1440, this will then show the daily channel on all time frames, hope this helps

Cheers

Hi ALL,

just sharing my trades the last two days.
I used H4 inside bars as additional filter to TDI cross and Synergy APB for entry. But what is more important is to follow the flow and avoid any counter trend move.

cheers!

I am not X-Man, but I know that he enters immediately after the SIGNAL candle, and that TDI is only for confirmation!

Yip thats correct i enter at the open of the candle after the signal candle.
Yesterday was a frustrating day as my internet connection was down.
I wonder what will happen to us traders when the will be no more internet
I guess i will just have to go stand all day on the traders floor LOL.
The E/U is going down down down. As i do my 1 years worth of back testing i notice that my short signals work better than the long signals.
Guys just go with the trend and you will be safe.

Hello X-Man,
Please, Why did not you trade one hour before the candle with a red arrow, the break of the range of the Asian session (long trade) ? Personally I am committed and I lost!
Thanks
Best regards

Even if i did trade long on the the candle before the signal candle i wouldve exited on the very next candle at break even when i see that big reversal candle. When you see a candle like that you still dont hold your trade, thats when you must exit. The candle is telling to that it couldnt break resistance so it will go the other way.

On the 1H tf you must be able to tell when to exit manually or just wait until it hit SL. When theres a signal showing that PA will go against you then you exit manually. From lots of practice you will get the hang of it.

Hey guys
Its friday baby .
Hope all you guys enjoy your weekend.

I'll be getting lots of back testing done.

Why some traders aint successful?
In my point of view traders dont stick to 1 system. They jump from one system to the next.
As soon as a system gives them a loss they go to the next system and thats how no system ever works for them.
Since i started trading i only went through 2 systems.
The first was sonic R system. I didnt like the 15m TF so then i found TMS from then i traded that system whether it gave me wins or losses and then mastered the system.
Thats a key to success

Hi all...being a complete newb and only using demo at present...I thank everyone here for their contributions....

Have spent the last couple of months stumbling around and making the predicted mistakes (as I knew better!!)...over leveraging, greed, emotional trading, doubling up on losses, etc, etc...

So now have typed out a trade sheet with all the info boxes that need to be filled in and this is the trade plan for 'that' trade....I think that personally this is what I need...so have 'started afresh'...good luck to all and thanks for all your information.

Back to the sidelines....

Couldn't agree more.

In light of recent debates on price action/trend cannot help but add a reason for failure is taking every 'signal' as a trade because 'system' says its a trade. There is a big diff between a 'signal' and a trade especially considering trend/counter trend (NB in particular where fundies are so weighted to a certain direction eg recently thats down for eur).

Cheers X-Man have a good 'un in 2012.

Yeah, i decided to go short on the eu at 1.2805 being i got some advanced news from watching TV news, i know it's against the rules but i am going on gut feeling which i don't do this often. We'll see what happens, +10 ATM.

Taking every "signal" as a trade is what makes robots burn accounts and as I have come to recently learn trading is INTERPRETIVE you just have to internalise a lot of stuff like Support & Resistance, Trend and Counter-Trend trading Volume and Momentum Multi Time-frame analysis to aid your decision making.
The TMS & S3 systems does however give an edge even where a trader decides to counter trend with just a few additional inputs.
Case in point AUDUSD today there were ample opportunity to counter trend and trade with the trend before New York session.
There were decent pips for the picking there personally I did not want to trade the notorious range before NFP news wish I had monitored the markets.

The attached screenshot highlight what I'm saying watch the arrows point out the signal candles.

Nice weekend to all TMS and S3 traders!

Went short, that spiked up and set me back. Then saw the huge reversal on the 15 and went long on that, same thing happened. Sitting on a fat -40 for the day. I think I'm done for the day.
