It was crazy...purely playing tricks with myself. It wasn't over-exposing myself at the time...just became as afraid to win as I would be to lose. Took a while to get past it. I've had others, too. 10 lots was fun at first...which is only 1 lot in the Dukascopy world. That still rattles me a little at times.

Never swinging that large. In and out...or bump, partial and some to run...hopefully.

This is when I realized it was a problem when I still associated money with a trade. Now I just try to focus on the buy or sell lines that are created on my chart and make good trades. Ignore the cash, play it right and let the rest take care of itself. Still not an easy task sometimes. Especially when a rumor causes one of my swings to go feckty. That -100 pip draw down, and the play is still valid. Luckily I've gotten better at avoiding those. lol

Indeed.

I've tried so many tricks to keep my eye off the money involved. Just setting pip values instead of $ values. Linking accounts together and using the $mallest one to drive everything else. Nothing worked. Just had to man the fak up and deal with it. I guess the thing that really did it for me was just playing the (risk) percentages and sticking to my rules.

I'm going to go with Kim Jong returning from the dead, where I take the offer as his personal assistant. During my employment with him, I break the site. As a reward, he offers me a 50$ gift certificate and I do indeed purchase a handle of spiced rum.

The kicker is that I offer it as a gift to him, complete with a neuro-toxin that forever puts him in a state of paralysis, where he will be mistaken as dead and buried alive.
