So does he or any of you that follow that entry style, enter before the 1 hour gives a cross-over signal? What do you look for in the candles on 1 hour that gives the clue to check 15 min. Although the pull-back entry I think was explained. I still dont get it
Hey this is my very first post on this forum and I hope this question has not been answered already (I've just got up to page 48 of 157)

To enter on M15 requires you find a strong trend on H1 say all blue bars followed by a reversal bar the next hour what to do next is on the close of the reversal red bar go to a 15 minute chart and wait fir the next TDI cross in the original direction of the trend ie a blue bar, If the trend is strong that would be a continuation and an early re-entry for you cos at times the next 1 hour bar may just be too long and may be followed by a consequent pull back.

Hmm why do you need the timeframe converter if this data source has the feature of importing data into all timeframes of MT4?
Think twice before going live, even if you own the best trading strategy...

This was pm'd to me on another forum and have only been using it for a week and had 4 out of 5 winners, some of you may have already come across it and used it. Here it is.


[color=black][font=Segoe UI][color=red] EurUsd, H1 chart
-check the 7:00 NY candle, if it is long or short.
-when it closes, at 8:00 NY time, open a trade OPPOSITE to 7:00 candle.
-so if 7:00 candle closed down (short), you place a buy (long)...
No luck on this strategy today.

Mine was 3.5 pips, so it did meet the criteria. It doesn't really matter as I would be hard pressed to trade this type of strategy with real money.

NY session opens at 8:00 am EST. 1300GMT.

It is 13 GMT but still 8 EST.

You already can.
Drop on the chart, click the color tab.
It's too bad more people aren't trading today. Excellent PA on the EURUSD.

I've gone through the spreadsheet and it's impressive and I've been doing the maths, maybe I should pick your brains, with a lot size of 0.5 and SL of 30 you'd be risking $150 that means twenty bad trades and bye bye to your capital but that's not gonna happen.
I think we need to get to a place like you said where your 30 pips TP is consistently hit but there are days with draw-downs and flat PA how do you still achieve 1M in 28weeks?
Do you trade 2 lots with primary target at 30 and breakeven for the second and let it run so as to accommodate the possible draw-down days.
I think we need to make it clear so some traders don't say they've been misled.

Really the spreadsheet's been an inspiration just have to build brick by brick.

I took a H4 trade on EURAUD. I could not follow the trade so I set a TP of 35 pips which was hit. I this particular case I feel that I cut my profit instead of letting it to run...

u lost me on that one. indicator has no option. properties only covers original bars, not apb bars....thanks for reply......vince
ignore the lines as that is my indy and backtesting. I drew and arrow on the entry candle.

But does this qualify as a signal to go short as the previous candle was a pullback and TDI broke the bands and is current hooking over?
