How many times have I have a nice profit for the year, only to have my teeth kicked in the last 2 weeks? Too many, too painful to recall. I took 2 lots and got some of the bounce. I am all out now. I just don't see any great European salvation between now and new year's day. If I miss a big run up, so be it. I have a nice return for the year, so I am taking my chips off the table. Plus, I am only long this pair, and big "risk on" over the next few weeks doesn't seem plausible to me.

Good Trades to All.......

Regards,

No, I meant 1.05, or where it ends up by the end of the year, and then I'll be selling. It's a plan that may change if we go lower.

AUD/USD @ .9925

By now most of you should be feeling vertigo sitting on a full wallet.

The congestion in the 98's as forewarned proved correct and the bounce came nicely towards parity where sellers were lined up.

Many got caught short in the Gold trap..

My spies tell me European CB selling..

Were they then buying Euro to ease up the credit markets? Im thinking yeah

Today.. I dont see much and should be contained within last night range..

Nice weekend..

Numbers is all trading is. A chart organizes the numbers by time. Forexfactory throws out random numbers throughout the day, as chart forecasters predict the weather.

Like this, 40% chance of choppy whether over the next 3-5 days, with a severe chance of bullish, with stoploss hunting and margin calls, that may last 5-7 days

I'm looking at another rejection from parity. I'm short from 0.945 and have another limit order for 0.999.

I think you will see a fast drop from parity to around 0.985 possibly 0.98.
More often than not the "weather report" is wrong.lol Lets see what happens...

Happy Hunting!

yeah it definitely appears to be taking a break. euro is stalling/consolidating or something right now.

you can probably scalp 10-20 on this break.. but when london opens, personally, I wouldnt be short unless your basis is up there and you don't mind taking some heat temporarily
Any prices quoted are futures

now Executed 0.9955, 0.9980

Added another short at 1.00

still no SLs - I think this bull will have a heavy charge to satisfy the Longs, then will tank as quick as it got up there. Hoping for the turnaround to happen around the 1.00-1.005 area.

Well, thats me done for the week.
Closed off every other position as they moved into the green - even if they were no where near their TP's - closed a few that looked like they were going to turn around and strike the SL's at some point for small losses. I'm not risking anymore then i have to this weekend. Although, I'm very tempted to short the ASX200 index. Hmmm... haha

This week, total pip score ~+750 throughout the different pairs.

Only thing left on the table is 6x shorts at different intervals on the Aussie pair, no SL's. I've allowed enough breathing space for this pair to go over 600pips in the red without having to worry about "the call" haha. God help us if it gets this far out of control

Anyway, off to lunch with the boys for a hamburger and a handle me thinks Have a great weekend all! Safe trading!

yeah. I'm not married to it yet but it could also be the beginning of sub wave 3 of a larger wave 3 which would be a great short entry. any action above .99876 would invalidate this. R/R ratio looks pretty good to me though.
But again, i'm not married to it yethttp://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

I'm in short, as I believe we are not out of the woods yet. There is still a distinct possibility that today is just a consolidation of the good news from US yesterday and / or stop hunting.

Once people realize that the Eurozone is still crap, and there is no credible results / decisions being made, I believe we will still see 0.9880 again sometime today.

Good luck and green pips to all.
