Trade or Target?

Hi Guys, do you trade trade the market as long as it your signal for entry is alerted or do you call it a day after after you hit your targeted profit for the day?

Good question.

For some, there is a signal where ever you decide to make one, since it depends on your study skills at the time.
Plus, the idea is to compound money consistently, so I don't see the point in having a profit limit.
So for me, in practice, I trade until either I go bust or I get tired of trading. If I get tired of trading and then return to trading, I go bust more often; if I'm determined and positive, I can go for more trades.
Because I haven't made it yet, perhaps it is wise to adjust what to 'go bust' and 'tired of trading' mean, to create profit.

I trade long time frames (4 hour plus) and monitor 23 pairs so I am pretty much always in a trade. I have profit targets per pair but every 4 hours I monitor the charts and see if anything else is developing.

I don't have a daily percentage that I try to achieve. I just take what the market gives. Some days I give a bit back to the market too
