Thanks smash.

My TP is set at 1.33000 which is around 100 pips.
but I will be watching the charts closely.
Even if you guys look at the news it shows better than expected which shows a bullish sentiment.

I got out of this trade with some pips. Waiting for h1 candles and/or next h4-candle bounce entry.

X-Man,

Could you clarify what you meant in your first post when you said:

This thread is very very similar to the Trading made simple but here we are looking at specifics and wont be trading any cross on the TDI, which is very important because as traders we want to keep the pips we make without giving the market back the pips.

But then further down you said:

- your entries will be at the green cross the red on the TDI or when green bounce off the red on the TDI.

Is this system simply weak in Dec? I blame myself for my losses, but I've followed the rules as best as I could and still lose daily.

Guys i went long on the open of the current bar.
The reason for this is that the bulls were more in favor as i could see that PA is showing signs of retracement on the 4H chart.
So i would rather take the longs than shorts.
On the 4H chart you can see that the TDI is moving back inside the band , yesterday it made a strong push down and broke those bands.
Mmmm
Not...

A trader may get lucky few times or probably in a row many times by playing crosses or whatever, but the reality is that end of the day everything boils down to S&R no matter what system is in use.

Just my opinion.
Forex is boring but profitable with patience and discipline

Hello Traders,
I am a transfer from the original TMS thread, i have been following this thread since the beginning. I want to commend and thank X-Man and the
rest for showing me how to read PA and Pullback candles which i was having trouble doing.
I am in the US Central Time therefore i cannot catch all the London session, i do get up at 2-3 Central time and catch some moves before the New York session, because of the learning i have received on this thread i do not rely that much anymore on the TDI, strictly PA, Pullbacks and S&R.
I see different styles of trading on this thread which is o.k., everyone has there own style, i am a very aggressive trader sometimes it gets me in trouble but as long as i am ahead (which i am) that is o.k. with me, i don't mind the losses as long as the winnings outnumber the losses.
By the way i went long on the EU and closed with +25, I am presently long on the aud/usd -12 ATM.
Oh, i also want to commend X-Man for running a very welcoming and disciplined thread, keep up the work.

Good Luck
cajun

If there was a system/indicator/EA that were as simple as...

When "A and B do C...Buy/Sell"

Does anyone really believe that person would tell the world?

This is a business built on probabilities. Your number one enemy, will be yourselves. The emotional aspect WILL be your largest hurdle.

For me...when I have 3 losing trades in one day...I know I'm mentally "not in the game"...I come back tomorrow.

Just my thoughts...

Take a step back, have a good critical look at your trades (not tdi crossed etc etc) but were losing trades counter trend, did you get in after too big a move, wrong time of day.

The generally poor pa due to euro zone problems hasn't helped.

Anyway this is where the work part of trading comes in. Only you can see exactly what you have done and take steps to sort it out.

Good luck (the harder you work the luckier you'll get).

prftablefool is correct, the only system that works is one that also uses PA, so why not just learn PA? Threads stating 'simple' and 'easy' will always attract the people who think they will make big money by not having to learn and master how the markets move.

There is no proof these systems work, a few pics of ideal setups, no proof of any trades or consistent profit. Every trade should be posted when taken and a record of the op's trades on trade explorer for several months at least before anyone should get involved or throw real money in the pot.

I took a long eventually like others here @ 1.3195 at the close of the 15min news bar, TDI was already crossed and at a good angle, entries from the 15m can be the way to go when PA is slow. Exited just before daily support @ 1.3224. Like others have said S&R will be respected.
+44 pips today so far. oh and +65 yesterday, 3 trades so far with this system. Thanks X-man :0)

X Man and various other more experienced traders have stated in past Posts that THEY are taking less notice of the TDI and more of the Price Action of the APB Bars. If newbies or others havent read all the POSTS then it is not Xmans responsibility to keep responding to repeat Questions and wannabe detractors.
What he has stated and repeats is that NOBODY should be trading REAL money until they are fully confident in the system and substantial Back testing be undertaken. PHX62s statement, that he has spent 100s of hours learning the price Action of APB Candles on just the EUR USD is proof of what is required to be successful.

And the fact he is probably one of the most successful Traders on this thread bears testament that no one, including X Man said it was easy, and that only hard work will reap the rewards.

Care to elaborate on what trades you made today? I followed the rules and could've made 20 but ended up getting greedy and losing 20 by holding out too long. Where was the opportunity for 44?

If we are to disregard the TDI in favor of PA then the entire system becomes something else entirely doesn't it?

Same here. I could have taken +20 on the tdi cross long, but greed got the better of me. I didn't think it would dip back below 1.3200. Had I taken the 20, I would be BE for the day.

Zortan

Your statement shows me clearly you havent been reading my posts.
I have been posting to fellow traders that they have to learn the movement of PA on E/U.
Thats why i keep stressing that they should back test , back test and yet more back testing so they can learn the movement of PA.
I said that PA is king, TDI is just a confirmation. where were you when i sent all those posts? I have also stated that people demo this method for 2 months. Never did i tell anyone to go live.
I make my pips per month consistently.
I really dont need to prove anything.

I have noticed always that in every thread theres people that start criticizing the thread starter as soon as the system gives a losing streak.
Im sorry for not giving you the HOLY GRAIL.

The reason why i state that its a simple system is because once you do your homework of back testing then you will learn how to take pips form this pair.
Never did i mention that you should disregard S&R.
thats a basic in forex.
Why do you think i told traders in my first post to go to babypips.com thats where all the basics are covered.

If traders want me to take this thread down i will do it.
The only reason why i started this thread was to help struggling traders. I show them how to master 1 Pair.
I dont need to prove anything here.
