the open positions are hedged i can see a retrace in MACD so i am looking for 1.0120 for retrace or even back to 1.0200 for me to open my hedge position

I am going to say I agree with this post since my charts indicate we've hit a temporary support at approx 1.00471

Interestingly enough, I see that in my daily charts we've bounced at 68 fibo. from the latest rally: This tells me that tonight/tomorrow is crucial, if my daily candle closes lower than this 68 fibo retracement, we could see lower highs, and lower lows; only time will tell.

Fast, jerky moves sure to shake out the inexperienced. The experienced? Well, they know well to be moving out and let the silence blow over.

in my monthly charts i've drawn a fibo retracement from feb '09 to june '11' ; which has seen the AUD rally against USD from 0.62533 to 1.092...

in my monthly charts it seems we're stuck inside a range; but this month, could see that range break ... and unfortunately it doesn't look good for bulls.

the price has bounced currently at 23 fibo retracement. At this point, we could see a traditional end-of-year boost (according to theory). On the other hand, there has been massive sell off and my indicators (MACD and Momentum) tell me we could break this 23 fibo and move downwards in the next months ahead.

Critical time for the market.

just went short with 15 lots (mini lots) at 0054; tight stop 0085 and watching in case it goes against me... hopefully we get a drop; however, we are in the demand zone; but it is does blow away the low; its going to drop :-)

well, i got out; i think this is going higher now :-( wait, now for a better entry, and try again :-)

i think it is giving up now; looks like it is heading south :-) - short again at 0065; stop still at 0085

finally, got some green pips with a locked in stop :-)

not if you get it at the top of a range and it goes your direction for a few 100 pips... in this case it didnt; however, with a small stop you dont lose that much:

if you are risking 1 pip to make 10; you only have to be 20% correct to make a nice profit.

btw: i just shorted again at 0064 with the same stop loss of 0085...it may just run this time... if it does it could be a 200-300 pip move; if not i lose 20 pips; unless it move 20+ first which then i move my stop loss up to BE - or i close out if it goes against me for a small profit or loss (1 or 2 pips). i can do this all night and sooner or later i will get my 200 pips will little or no draw down; i dont think that is rubish.

note: some trader use 100-200 pips stop; that is fine; whatever works for you.

moved my stop up to BE + 1 pip... let it run as low as she wants to go :-)

I got it ^ ^. Told you guys the european summit was a waste of time. All you need to do to trade forex is watch closely how european clowns dance, if they dance well, then long AUD, if they didnt dance well ( which is their job and personality) then short aud.

1) For the life of me, I just can't understand why should UK agree to Euro's proposal - Euro members have to understand this if they want people to stop seeing them as clowns - the answer was never outside, it was inside.

2) Mario's draghi about ECB not printing money - This is what i call stupid, but smart. He got smart when he cut interest rates, hinted of future cuts, probably organized the swap thing, but stupid for telling others that he won't print money. Why wouldn't you want people to think that you are not printing money when there is trouble inside the eurozone ? What euro needs now is growth, growth that can be achieved through exports and would improve with a weak euro. You don't have to actually print it, just tell people you are going to print if things go bad - I mean what's the problem ?

3) Euro leaders gotta learn learn from MF Global - The lesson is that if MF Global wasnt require to put in additional collateral, Corzine's bets would be making money right now ) i'm serious . What happened ? Bad press - from rating agencies( the evil idiots who intentionally 'missed' lehman and euro crisis ), plummeted the stocks. All i'm saying is that, if you don't give the market what they want, they are going to punish you, and be it whether you have the right strategy or not -> you are still going down.

4) So I bitch a lot , what solutions do europeans have ? Print money ! Prepare the guidelines for printing money, how and who gets what. If germans don't like to print, just tell them to get out of the Eurozone, it's kinda stupid not printing when there is an emergency. Eurozone officials should make it clear to others- We will back our bonds - by printing money, doesnt sound that reassuring but people would prefer that to default.

5) Ultimately, Euro will fail, unless some of them get kicked out and i think Aussie still in for a wild ride , esp. if AUD is not lowering anymore interest rates.

Proper entry is you best sl. We have been in a 24 pip range for 6 hrs and your making calls of 100 pips prior to the clean brake of the 1.0050... And no real movement as Asia settles in to it session....
