The rule is 4 pips above BODY. So, it got triggered barely by the next candle after it.

I agree this is a risky one. In fact, it got triggered when it hit the upper trendline. I hesitated but decided to enter finally as it matched all the rules of the TS.

Good luck in reading the whole thread. I spend more than 8-10 hours on that. Still, I got questions that senior members here told me that it had already been answered previously.

Does that pips including spread ? - depends on your spread but partly yes (1 pip at least) as it's 4 for a long as opposed t 3 for a short

BB Macd's settings that i got from the template is 12-14-10, is that the right settings or 12-26-10 ? 12-26-10 as stated in manual, template wrong (thats what I have seen in the thread anyway)

My fratelli MAIN v1.3 really doesn't look right, is this the correct setings (MaxBars 300, NumberOfDays 90) ? thats how mine is, so you'll only get candles for the last couple of days

Oanda mt4 time is gmt-5, so i should adjust the worktime to 02:10 to 11:30, right? YES

Instead of fix 20 pips, why don't use some variable to define TP and SL size. The reason is because market always change. Sometimes it tight range, sometimes wide range. I was thinking maybe define our TP and SL size depends on % of previous day's low/high/close/open/pivot point or something like that. Or maybe a size of between certain level of Fibonacci to another level of Fibonacci of that particular day's low/high/close/open/pivot point.

The reason for this is that it will make the system more flexible to adapt to the condition of the market.

Guys,

The constant tweeking of this trading system to squeeze out every possible pip has corrupted a simple system that was made available by Peter and crew to help traders to realize a few unstressful 20 pips a day. So here we are today with a revised system based on the greedy mentaility of a few (tweekers) traders. My read of other system threads shows that this often results in the untimely death of many well intentioned trading systems. I sure many viewers of this thread don't want this to happen to Fratelli.

Time for a reset! In my opinion, it would be nice to have a conservative Fratelli trading system similiar to the previous version and an aggressive Fratelli trading system for greed based tweekers.

Some previous postings have observed that the system may not be profitable due to changing market conditions. So, back and front test and see what market conditions were in place when gains were realized. It would seem to me that based on these results there may be a need for a system advisory that would advise traders to use Fratelli only when certain market conditions exist.

My 2 cents worth.

In the final analysis, Peter and his crew need a break so they can get on with there own trading. Let the system(s) run for 6 months and then evaluate the need for further changes.

Peter and his crew tweak the system due to backtest on this system more than 3 months ago does not produce positive result. It's not because of wanting to produce any extra pips. Who need more pips if the system is reliably profitable? If we need more return, we can always increase our lot size.

Please tell us that you are not making your own rules after you have chastised so many on this thread for not reading the thread thoroughly or following the rules of Mr Fratelli exactly. Perhaps you should go back and read what you yourself wrote on page 186 (post #2785)
