I was wondering if anyone has noticed that there is a "James16" app for the iPhone? Of course I am kidding, but there is an app called "Asia Forex Mentor", with an associated .com address.

Pinbars, Inside bars, outside bars, confluence, alot of the James16 price action material is there.

I just searched the site and he provides no credit at all to James for the material.
too many of those too count these days. I guess it comes with the territory

I always go with "it is what it is" that's my go too in life haha

Was looking at this trade ex post, so didnt took it, watching how strong those boxes are. This is what I think is a nice bearish Pinbar, bouncing from a nice level acted as support and resistance before, but price got rejected from the boxed consolidation zone.

Lesson: take care on those zones, they are really strong!!!

TL is still holding price on usd chf, I THINK is looking like a bulish triangle, 3rd attempt to break to the upside is comming.

Lets see what happens, i wish for my christmas present a break to the upside and a big bulish pinbar rejecting from the horizontal blue line ;-).

Did anyone take the EurChf 4H pin? I had a pending BS @ 1.24
I am also thinking to take the GbpChf pin, a little hesitating too.
Could you guys please put up a few words on them? Did I take it wrong? I am new to the pins so any help is welcome.

Welcome, you aren't quite wrong with the bars. But the locations and story behind these bars are a bit trickier.

I would personally easily avoid eur/chf due to the extreme choppiness and consolidation we are in. Pretty similar to the gbp/chf. Essentially they both will work or not work so you gotta watch doubling your risk. Or at least be aware of that.

I'm not sure how Skunny uses fib levels or if they are the sole focus of his trading but we use them as a confluencing tool with S/R, PPZ levels.

As Rust has said, long term MAs like the 150 ema and 365 ema that James16 uses are used as confluenceing tool with S/R and PPZ levels. James16 also uses these MAs as targets for PA setups when applicable.

Hey Hector . .nice charts . .

That sure is a strong zone on the Cad/Jpy . .I like looking at Weekly TF on these "crazy crosses" (and also Usd pairs too) it helps bring a bit more clarity to the levels and "zones".

Looking at the Weekly TF, that zone stands out to me between a LCS and HCR level. The Daily PB looks really good . .piercing through both levels. . .a bigger size PB would have been nice.
A retrace entry off that PB to the Weekly HCR level (78.81) would be how I would trade it. . .ending in a break even trade at its worst outcome.

The PB could still work out .. meaning its High may not be breached due to the Weekly LCS (77.25) could still act as strong Resistance.

I agree, the current Daily BUOB closing above the Weekly HCR level could be indicating more bullish movement . . the decision to get out of the trade is a valid one. . .should be fun to watch . .

Just some thoughts . .nice job PinWing . .

Anyone of u using the J16manager EA posted here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...95#post3219195 ? I managed to load up the EA but its not working i.e. it doesn't partial close at target as indicated.

Anyone of u who are successfully using this pls help. Thks!
