i have been a silent follower in this thread with a good deal of interest. And i am bit new to the market with just one year of experience with limited success.
But i see the activities in this thread has been slowed down mainly after mickymouse's back test results and after those repainting issues.
But i feel if some one experienced can tell us a solid money management plan for this system we should be able to earn some pips using this system rather than blindly following all the signals. i dont know thats my feeling.
May be peter could post here with some tweaking of the system or with a good MM plan so that learners like us could continue with the system? I like the system as its purely mechanical

I use this system to alert me to the fact of a POTENTIAL trade , and not blindly trade and it seems to work for me
I like the system , I put the trades on , when I get an overall accumulation of 20 pips close all , and after that the days for myself to do what I want ( learn more about trading for example)
I take into account overall trend S/R and previous days trends - Oh and I use 15M
This is why I have not posted much on this thread on fear of being told to go away

I trade any pairs with a low spread if it looks good
I have 7 prs open at the moment
with this system I never let it go overnight cos alpari widen the spread overnight
USDCAD had 8 pips at one point
I am trading live but not using MM yet (just small lots) as I am forward testing

The purpose of trading a mechanical system is, in theory anyway, precisely to trade it blindly. But in fact, you are not actually trading completely blind because the trade entry, the money management in regards to sl and tp, the trading hours, and the trend, in this case, for the 10 minute tf, are all built into the system.
Then come the logical filters for experienced traders, like for example not trading 4 or 5 hours before NFP report comes out, not trading on holidays, and managing what percent of the account to risk per trade, etc. Other experienced traders have the very intelligent idea of not trading after accumulating a certain amount of pips daily, or not taking trades if the signal is activated near strong support or if in ob /os areas. Just now the EU popped up 40 pips in a few seconds, but hey, we have been in a downtrend for almost 5 hours already, so you had to be mentally prepared for that.
But if this system, or any mechanical system is profitable over time, it should and will accumulate pips for you stress free, again.. in theory. This system is still in forward testing as you all know.
So I am NOT proposing the taking of all the signals without paying attention to the PA. Each person determines that for him or herself, but it would be a good idea to track the changes you make to the system and compare over time if the changes you made actually made a difference for the better or for worse.

just to know! have u been sucessful in generating 20 pips every day solely using the signals generated by the system up to now? plus do u have a maximum risk tolerance per day?

Hi all, if anyone know how this indicator come by, please help me answer some of my questions regarding about the indicator. I plan to manually backtest this system for 1 year. I will post the result here regardless good result or bad result.
1. Let's start with the mini arrow. What is the criteria for the arrow to show it bottom or top? I know it was using EMA 2.15 crossover indicator but I don't know how does this indicator work. Is it Exponential Moving Average of 2 crossover with Exponential Moving Average of 15? I tried with it before but it seems does not tally with the result of EMA 2.15 crossover indicator result.
2. Regarding about SuperTrend indicator, how does it calculate to come out with the result that paint the candle red or green? How does it indicate whether it is uptrend or downtrend?
Please, whoever know this don't ignore my post. I really tried to revive back the thread in case the result is positive.
