In this situation i would wait until PA is above the 60EMA because as you can see that the daily channel is in a downtrend, so i would sell the tops rather than buy the bottom

Yip i do trade like that as well as Big E and Phx62.
To be able to know when to cut your trade a lot of back testing is needed. the reason for this is that when you back 1 pair a lot you will notice there is a constant type of movement the pair will keep making and the candles will always look like a similar candle that you have come across while back testing. thats how you build your edge.

I would temper that thought with the idea of practice. In the begginning I made the sad attempt at being too flexible and flip flopped a few times in the same session. My first experience of chop as it were and it was devastating. Lesson learned, let me tell you. Hope this helps.[/quote]

Luv the thread - the SHI channel works well on the Day and really reinforces the supply/demand levels. Been drawing my own channels for a while now.

and if we wanted 2X 3X 4X ATR(7). we would just change the appropriate box and it will also be on our screen. Save me from some calculations

Here is a set of candle patterns that is worth committing to memory.

I have been writing a training class which I may or may not run at some time, but I use it to train some of the folks that I trade with. I have based the material on my trading plan and mm plan - Most of the material can be found in Babypips.com / compassfx.com and a ton of web searches for applicable materials. It keeps me up to date and I always learn a ton when I teach!

So, X-Man, Can I make a conclusion, that if I see the channel on H4 is UP, then it will be safer for me to take Long Signal only on H1 and ignore Short Signal?

Also read dcginc post many times, I would love to have him as a mentor. I saw him browsing this post last week, would have loved if he posted more.

I am slowly but surely learning to have half the knowledge he has.
