lol thats funny i have heard similar from several poker players I know: cards are "easier" ... although one of the richer card sharks also does well in trading...

Thing about cards is that probabilities work quite nicely. Cards are a finite world. Forex is not. Depending on the day there could be anywhere from 0-10 black aces in the deck.

Funny post! I hate casinos, too! Too much fakking oxygen for my liking!

Have a good friend that is a gambling man. He's on television all the time...forget the show: Poker Stars.net kind of thing. Been at it a LONG, long time. He's "made" as far as money is concerned. Exchanged very few words about poker/forex. We both know what one another do, but have never said...hey...I'll bank-roll you for a cut, if you do the same. I know he DOES do that with other poker players. Maybe that means he thinks Forex is too risky. I'll ask him point blank next time.

He is probably the most annoying trader out there. Every time I am on the wrong side of a trade he is on the right side. Needless to say, I look up to him. Nothing like a guy who trounces you on a regular basis to engender respect.
