Peter, your template is allright, loads all indis.

However, i dont see candles at all. I just see them when i turn from line chart (which is standard at your template) to bar chart. But then the candles are "normal" again But thats not a problem at all for me, works when i load them manually/or with my template

Dont trade Asian. nah if you see something you like go for it

Rivtrader, i think i found the solution to your problem.

Just wanted to do a backtest and turned MaxBars to 10000 candles.

it turns the whole indicator off. even with just 1000 MaxBars.

so turn it down to 400 again, and it should load.


Trying to fix it now, if anyone knows why it does not work with more bars... teach me

please redownload the template and tell me if its ok

I had 2000 bars there instaed off 300.

However, how to backtest if we can't change MaxBars higher above 500 candles? Anyone has a solution?

It's some issue with the 1.3 indicator.

Some error in the code.

When you turn MaxBars higher than ~500

It sais: uninit reason 5 (in expert log)

REASON_PARAMETERS 5 - Inputs parameters was changed by user.

Yes i changed the value, but why does he uninit then? Even if you edit the mq4 file it does not work with more than ~500 candles


Edit: so the solution to repainting is, ladys and gentleman: disabling the past candles at all so we can't check them anymore! haha
just kidding, no offense - hope we find a solution for this soon

Sorry my friend. I have tried your setup, Peter's setup, reducing the candles, even prayer, but the main indicator does not want to load. Maybe my broker does not want me to continue to make money with this system.

So I might continue with V2.

Did you allow DLL imports?

If this does not work, check the expert log and see what it sais

Yes I have the Allow DLL, Expert says Initialized, deinitialized, uninit reason 5, so I change the 500 bars in your template to 400, then it stays in initialized, but no supertrend candles and no arrows.

Hi Peter,

For those of us executing on non-MT4 platform, it would be extremely helpful to have the buy sell lines in the new indy! We just have to hover the mouse over the line and it will display the price we need to enter. Time-saving especially in fast moving market!
