I would ignore that IB just because of the strong weekly close below the TL ... On daily it looks like that IB was just a pullback back to TL .

Yes i know the W close is not valid yet but idk if there will be much going on from now on any way ...

Hello guys

I think this is something like hidden camera.....what just happened in this pair 4Hr TF?

There is a BUOB, then a BEOB, and then a second BUOB? I could have drained, like 10% of an account on this pair (joking)!!!

Anybody have seen this happen in the past?, how often?, it is just a very big surprise for me, and i wanted to share with you all!!!

yeah those happen . At some point they stop to bother your attention
Price may be aggregated in bars , which are PA formations for different reasons , not just reversals . We don't need to know the exact reasons , just that not every single pinbar (or buob) means reversal . Especially on lower timeframes , where one bar carries not much time of information , or heavy chop where price moves up and down like crazy - MANY PA formations are formed which do not carry weight at all , in my opinoin .

Here is why we search the good locations . Where we expect some action anyway ! And there is the reason to believe this time the motive force that created this pinbar is the force of reversal. Some kind of proof of respect to our predetermined zone ! The force of triggering orders from the ones who see the same mechanics of the market.

I know Mike is far more superior on this stuff and explaining it , but tonight I have a strange muse

You should use a chart which has correct daily bars. 5 full trading days in a week, not 6. Quite important so your MA matches what others see.

It's one thing I have no control over but it doesn't look that far off with my 5 day/week chart either...for this case anyway lol

No problem PB. Those I4B's were definitely the most difficult for me to grasp. I haven't even started demoing them yet and probably won't for another couple of years.

I4B is still something I am demoing as well. I became really interested in them after the USD/CHF rallies. At the same time, I recall jim giving many praises to them in one of his chart if i recall correctly.

Yes, the number increases by the number of prior consecutive larger bars.

Remember, as Donkey said, they are the most difficult PA to trade, they really need to have their back to the wall of a strong PPZ or RN so they will actually move in the direction of the original break, and not break in one direction by 15 pips then take off in the other direction by 100 pips.

Try zooming out to two clicks above the smallest chart size.

It came off a nice area with all that consolidation boxed up on the left, but the size of it compared to the previous bullish bars I have put blue boxes around, does not look good.

MT4 tends to distort bar size when zooming in too much.

I shall be flying back to Japan for two weeks, tomorrow morning, and will probably not have much internet access for a few days.

Ah, the thought of it being +15 degrees centigrade when it is already -15C here, is appealing.
