3% per day compounded for 1 year would get you to $200,000 by the end of the year. you can break that down too; 100 / 3 or 1000 / 30 both seem quite feasible with the right TA

well the thread is about starting with $100 and getting to $100,000. if you risk 100 pips for 3 each day that would be 3% per day

That was at 500:1 on micro real deposit.
And noone will even do such a things on normal-sized deposit, noone will do it during trading-for-living, etc
Looking at some number and trying to archieve it is just greed, and greed leads to nowhere.

I think it is possible only with system,

100 to 100000 is 1000x --> 930% ROI / month (seems too much)
with compounded 80% ROI / month it seems smaller

With 1 : 100 leverage, and 4 % margin for 1 trade (4$)
2 pairs , for GU and GJ has average min 2000+ / month and 300+ / day

it means each pair have to be targeted 40% and 40%

So target per month is
Gu with 4% for 1000pts / month --> 250 / week ( usually 300+ / day)
GJ with 4% for 1000pts / month --> 250 / week (usually 300+/ day)

this i believe is not a realistic target as we are human not machines
and factors of living come in as well as loses?

if you work out the win to lose ratio
your more likely to lose than win

hence why you let profits run cut loses short.

3 to 1 ration in wins is said to be the target

never entre trades on 1 to 1 ratio you ll never get to 100,000 thats for sure

you ll be down and out

i trade pull backs and follow the direction of the trend

also look at fib retracements and the climb of pa (price action)

Are we really discussing this,MOST things are POSSIBLE,but everything is relative to (risk to gain)

The worst you can do at these kind of aged threads is look at the thread creator profile and find out they did not show up again, and last activity is 2007... or the date they posted.. it looks like it did not work for them.

The market is very efficient at killing off the gamblers out there with $100 accounts. Those accounts are the bread and butter of the bucket shops. They know you will lose the minute you fund the account and I would say it wouldn't take long because no one in their feeble mind takes the time to deal with risk.

The mentality is always: "It's only $100" risk? who cares. It's too boring to think about it. You can't turn $100 in to a $1000 and beyond if you don't consider capital preservation.

If it took you a month to turn $100 in to $110... could you live with that?

Realize if you did this every month we are talking 120% ROE per year. ANY fund manager with a brain the size of a flea would give their right testicle plus first born for those kinds of returns.

Forget the nonsense of turning $100 into $10,000 or more within one year. You will never accomplish that, there are better things to invest your time in.

No..you're not crazy. If you can make a consistant profit you can reach $100 to $100k in 1 year.

Then what monthly return you are expecting actually?

I think it's close to impossible to have such progress. I assume you are a total newbie and that is really hard goal even for seasoned trader. So I assume it will not happen in any time soon. But you can set a goal of something like $1000, it's more realistic.

I don’t know; how traders can set their monthly & yearly target with a unrealistic figure when Forex is all about probabilities; no certainty.
