As far as I know there aren't any that are preferred. Metatrader 4 (MT4 for short) is pretty standard. Do not get metatrader 5 as the indicators probably won't work on them. If you don't want to switch brokers you can use MT4 to get signals and your own broker to trade with. Some people prefer to trade this way, but in my humble opinion, it just isn't worth it. I like to see everything in front of me and not worry if price feeds are the same. Look into your current brokers platforms. If they have it, ask to switch as it should be very easy to do. If not, think about switching brokers. The big benefit of learning and using MT4 is that if you ever switch brokers, chances are, they will have it available.

Ya gotta be careful about recommending brokers. Everyone's got a different set of parameters. Some allow US traders some don't. Some charge commissions, some go just of spread (some great spreads, some lousy). You can always google "forex broker reviews". There are some good review sites but some shady ones too. Such is the trading rule.

You can PM me if you like and I'll mention a couple of broker's I have live accounts with but don't want to muck up the thread with that.

Thanks Xman again for showing us this easy strategy. I am up over 900 pips in profit with only using the 4 hour method. This is so easy to trade this way. When I enter trade after the bounce of the channel line and enter then set the stop to be after awhile and make huge amounts of profit.

900 pips in 1 week thats amazing. I know its very very possible. I say 1 week coz this thread is only running for 1 week.

The 1H method is to keep you busy until a 4H trade set up happens.
Because a 4H swing trade takes really long to set up.
But if you not a full tie trader then the swing method will work perfect for you , you dnt have to worry about the 1H method.

Have a look at post 495 and 496, there are charts that i have posted.
I did not trade all those pairs but most of them taking enough pips for myself but did not ride the entire trend.
I just take how much i want and close. But soon im thinking of holding those positions much longer which will make me much much more pips, it would triple the pips i make monthly.

Guys you do not need to over trade , thats why i hate the lower TFs. those are meant to make traders over trade.
Just a few swing trades per month will hit your target of 1000 pips a month.
My personal target was 1000 now its at 2000. from there ill start increasing lot sizes . Then theres no stopping me

I took a chf jpy short ......it hit the top of a trending down channel, and it went up to the 60 ema before coming down....
i wonder if i did something wrong here.

Thats why its safer to wait on those steep channels before entering.
This pair will form a new high and the channel will most likely adjust.
thanks for the advise Xman, quick question, does the synergy bar ever repaint after it has been set on its bar, for example would the previous bar ever repaint, of course i know the current bar can reapiint until the time frame is complete but what about previous bars.

Congratulations mshupe. Excellent work. In an effort to better understand this system, can you please attach charts where you show your entries and exits? I think that this way we can support each other.

I dont understand why you went short when its in an uptrend after the bounce.
Have a look at my chart
I would feel safer and have a better sleep at night if i went long and held that long position

I am at work, and don't have charts otherwise i would have posted a chart up.

I think someone else previously put up a chart....
hey i know, losses are inevitable.
just wanted to see what you might have to say about it.

A nice short trade on the 1H method.
I missed that trade.
Im not in my trading zone on fridays its more of a chilled day for me.
That ran for about 100 to 130 pips . Would be a good friday to whoever caught that baby.
I wouldve entered short on the blue candle pullback

EURGBP
USDJPY
NZDJPY
GBPCAD
I´m running them on as soon as they get filled.

By the way X man: traded 4 times the 1 H EURUSD with 50 % scores and a net profit...not bad for a beginner..

What made the Dollar shoot up so fast? I was going to take the trade but haven't been too successful today due to choppy price so thought I'd stay out. In Hindsight I should have taken it. Oh well
