Question for Peter:
I know you have done extensive backtests, I am just trying to understand the usefulness of having a 25 pips SL on EU compared to a 20 pips SL.
To be effective compared to a 20 pips SL like on the other pairs, it means that every 4 times that price reaches -20, -24, then price turns back into positive territory to reach at least +10 to move the SL.
I am asking these because so far in forward testing every time that price reached -20 then eventually also hit -25, so if that helps save some pips why not placing SL at 20 pips?

per the manual, so im assuming once we set a PO, we only modify the PO if either one of the above are met. It is not about if the trade is valid or not cuz it was and hence we had a short line....
7:50 GMT signal bar became invalid with the next bar closing above 89EMA and then we had a new signal bar at 8:20 GMT and a new PO should have been placed but that was not triggered. Hope this helps.

I have seen in my back testings that price does in fact go between 20-24 and trail back off. I think the math for the trade off here is not once every 4 times but since our tp is 20, our original sl will be 20, our potential gain is actually 40 pips. 5 pip / 40 pip is once every 8 times. If price bounce back once every 8 times, its better off.

We have rules and we fallow them. If I like to test different settings, then I do. If they are good, I will tell to other fellow trades too, so try and if they are good, then inlight as too.

Long triggered on EU and EJ a few minutes ago.....I only took the EU trade....One trade at the time for me for now...

MACD is red on the 9.20 candle, no no PO should of been placed yet

once this 9.30 candle closes then its time to set PO and wait for it to trigger

No. If price closed above - PO is not cancelled. Only if bar color changed (or opposite arrow is shown), and this was not the case here.

For me, all trades closed, only thing I have is a PO buy stop for EJ at 104.717

EDIT: sorry got PO buy stop for EU as well

Peter thx, sorry to bother you once more, I try to gather all theh questions I had:

1) once we attach the EA to the chart its automatic manage any new orders that we have for that particular pair, we dont need to set tp or sl to the order right?

2)does the EA need diff magic no. for each chart?

3)It seemed like you have wrong set file for audusd, just a reminder, shouldnt we use the same set file as EJ?

If price closed above 89ma you cancel your PO, period. Only if you already are in a trade you don't close it. We had this discussion before, also in the pdf this is described as a SAR A stop and reverse entry
