Short EU and EJ........not sure on the EJ SAR though, no new entry line was printed....for how many bars can price stay on one side of 89ema then cross back without making the SAR trade invalid?

Edit: But you could enter AU at the same price or a better one after 7:10 GMT, I don't know how Peter backtested this kind of situation. Considering the signal and trigger both took place when momentum/volume wasn't high, the trade should be invalid, IMHO.
There must be a clear rule regarding this specific situation.

From my understanding, the clear rule as per the manual on post 1 is that once you made a pending order, it will be there unless --> colour bar changes
OR
if you have a new arrow opposite one and then receive another new arrow that will issue a better price.

Otherwise, before the above occur, we should leave PO open and let it enter the trade.

I would say let the PO continues and it should be cancelled only if u change colour in bars or u receive 2 arrows (opposite direction) and receive a new signal at a better price.

@smillee: I entered at the same setup, short EU and EJ

I don't think EJ was a valid signal, PO should have been cancelled once price closed above 89ma. The following candle that closed below 89ma never had it's low breached by 3 pips, so no trade for me.

Read the PDF (SAR rule) about a cross of 89, a crossback & a final cross again in the first direction..... The other signals (2MA, color bar & macd) must still agree.

So my new PO on EJ was not triggered...
And unfortunately, my short on EU was filled just by fractional pips

I got the short signal on EU and EJ as well but it never got to 3 pips from the low of the signal candle for my PO to trigger....Didn't take them....Lucky maybe...

EJ wasn't triggered (my broker and IBFX demo). Signal bar was at 8:20GMT and its low was 104.212. Price didn't touch 104.182 (the low was 104.190). If your broker has wider spreads, you may well be triggered.

EU trade is a full loss, -25 pips.

per the manual, so im assuming once we set a PO, we only modify the PO if either one of the above are met. It is not about if the trade is valid or not cuz it was and hence we had a short line. SHould the trade be not valid and a new order should arise, there will be a new yellow PO line drawn on the big long bar that triggered the trade. The new PO lines are programmed by peter and i think these are peters rule.

I made a mistake and entered manaully about half a pip too soon, but wasn't able to set a PO as price was to close ...

but regardless mistakes happen and are part and parcel of any system win or loose

My bad, I zoomed in on my EU chart and the EU short was triggered but not the EJ short on my platform...I don't use the EA to trade and do my trading manually...
