I thought maybe it's because the candle went below the 89 ma, and then went up above it again. So the EA thinks its a new breakout/signal candle since it went throught the 89ma.

im sure is the macd buffer from the ea...

Erhh micky you said u took the trade at 1.3322 and topm said so too.
The green arrow at the screen represents 1.3322.

However you said the green arrow is wrong but the blue line is right?

i just said i took the eu trade as well


the ea took the wrong trade because of macd buffer set un the ea.!!!!!
not talking about green arrows, but about ea entry !!!!

at about ~1.3328 is correct entry

And right now it's always painted above whole candle with wick, not just body. ok...

That was sure entertaining for 2 pips. AU came within a micropip of a full stop out and turned around and almost made target.

I got out of EU at BE, chickened out, bad feeling. Hope it makes it for you guys that stuck with it.

as i said, 4 digit brokers... diferences are a lot from a 5 dig pricefeed and a 4 digits one

Micky, im not an EA expert and we should keep this thread clean of it probably, but I'm not 100% sure what you mean with buffer pips. You mean the buffer we use because of spreads for the pending order?

However here is the expert i used so you can check it

It sais: "v2.2 Removes calls to MACD_colored and uses a buffer of 2 points."

Also, if he did get +20 at AU, he did not entry at above whole candle.

He entered just above the candle's body. So thats the huge difference

yeap ... this is wha im talking about

if (MACD1 > (0+2*Point) || MACD0 >= (0+2*Point)) MACD = up;
if (MACD1 < (0-2*Point) || MACD0 <= (0-2*Point)) MACD = down;

the macd is buffered by 2 pips in the ea while we dont use that buffer for the lines...
