u can set them to different color or size, in the fratelli_main_v1 indicator on the colors tab its the bottom color #5 and #6

Once again.....it is NOT part of the system rules. What I hoped to achieve is to "plant a seed" and hopefully get some traders to take a critical look at the effect of proper trade managent and look for ways to gain a few extra pips out of a trade with the same risk.

If you take a simple spreadsheet and note the max positive pips and max negative pips/trade , you will soon get a picture regarding optimum stop size and what you can do grab a few extra pips per trade. You can use this same information to get a view on whether first entries (first signal when trend change) or re-entries run further.... maybe there is no pattern?

What is the average potential gain on all trades? First signal and re-entries?

You only have to do it for 4-6 weeks on a pair , maybe pick EU to get an idea.

Whatever you do as a trader on your own steam to improve your trading fortunes will have far more value in the end than just waiting for the " latest updates" to the system.

This is not part of the system and i don't trade it it to a T, so apologies if this interferes with your thread Peter. I had to pop on after Gleneagles posted his thoughts and analysis to affirm that the space between my ears is not so empty after all :nerd:

What you said is right (in general), but I think Peter already made this study, before setting his rules about SL/TP of the pairs to trade with his system...
That's why we are grateful to him for the great effort made..

sorry havent posted over weekend, had a toothache and i hate it, worst pain i can think of.

Im sorry to Peter or anyone for my lack of presence on skype for the help to 1.3, i do feel ashamed that i wasnt up to being a help in the latest update.
But those that were seem to have done a good job and im looking forward to the trading week ahead

Peter did a great job producing a profitable system and spend a lot of his time (with help from a few traders) backtesting and tweaking.

My question to you would be....it is fair to sit back and expect him to do ALL the hard work ?

Minor issue with the BB MACD -- I see plenty of cases (e.g. in EURJPY) where the value is less than 0.0005 and it's not yellow -- whereas some of the yellow values are 0.005 or more. Haven't dug through the code enough to see why.

I see a potential error in the BB_MACD code:

The sslHup1/sslHdn1 lines are not included in the first for loop -- there are no { }s so only the bbMacd line is in the for -- so they're using the value of i after the first for completes. So it's setting sslHup1/sslHdn1[limit]. Is that intended? (And what does it mean to call iCustom with an indicator of "" ??)

Could I request some comments in there? I'm still not sure what code sets the yellow dots...

Does the "FRATELLI" symbol at the end of the chart signify anything important? I loaded the template on 4 charts and only 1 of them shows the symbol.

Don't know about anyone else but I still have issues with the offline chart. Price showing incorrectly but perfect on normal m5 and H1 charts for the same pair.

we have forward tested those indys last week, and we did not see any problems.

That does not mean, everything is fine we can missed something.

Not at all of course (and I gave my very little help to him @the start of his thread).... But he already did the hard work....

Then experienced and skilled traders like you (extensive backtesting), Deankenny (indicators & forward live testing) & MickyMouse (indicators) helped him (and us all) to fine tune the system...

We can only thank you all for the good work & partecipate in exstensiv forward live testing... eventually pointing out some technical problem or discussing here some doubts wich could arise from real live trading......

Glen - greetings from Cape Town. This is the latest holy grail on FF so all the snoek are sniffing for sardines. Kudos to those who have done the leg work.

Thanks Peter - what's your skype name ?

I've set up offline charts before when using constant range bars so I know how to do it. I just think there's something flaky in MT4 offline charting. It's a shame that the best results are on a non standard time frame.
