Mid holiday festivities... Breaking to digest and check on my positions... Am seeing a beautiful morning star forming on the daily chart... Anyone else see this?

Only asking because I am on a blackberry right now and my technical skills are limited...

Looks like an exciting day ahead if your not trading.
Those who are desperate need of a punt I'd say .9695 .9755 maybe worth a rough ranger.. beware though market is thinning and can gap on size or news.

I just wanted to voice some thoughts on Europe for those interested in medium to longer term trades (more than 1 session in my mind I guess). PIGS are swamped Italy being the biggest economy and therefore concern, IMF showing no interest in helping them, Germany can no longer sell the bonds it needs to stay afloat, (at the moment anyway), we have a dollar index bullish head n shoulders. Is Europe past the point of no return? Is the cost of salvation worth the risk to major financiers and the LONGER term stability of the Global economy and cost of living? Will they Instead opt to let them default and have the Euro break up (which will surge the dollar to new highs)? This will cause some serious pain in the RELATIVE short term but maybe they will see this as more responsible. Any thoughts?

Yup total collapse is coming,today was raining so i heated the house by burning euros
Seriously do you believe that if EU would split apart that the debt and all the spending would miraculously disappear ,new year is coming and new budgets are being implemented to cut spending and increase taxes,yes it gonna be rough for a year or two but its better to put some spirit on the wound ,instead of trying to cut your leg off

Good work on the Euros, cheaper than wood going forward for sure. Nope debts would not disappear, I'm just selfishly thinking in terms of my trading outlook for any currency paired with the USD (if interested, I posted a couple of trendline charts on GU pair and made reference to the location of the 200 ema for every significant timeframe etc being above it) and other hints at a monster dollar bull run. To sell now or sell later. That is the question.

To Sell Now
News abound are bearish for equities and risk in general. But 0.9700 is providing headache for the bears not to mention very strong support at 0.9680 which was talked as "the last defense toward 0.9400". However, one might get caught in a short squeeze (like I did) and end up with a loss. Shorting AUD right now is very "tempting".

To Sell Later
Therefore, we need confirmation. I am waiting for EURUSD to bust down 1.3320 (cleanly) to sell AUDUSD as well. In fact, both EURUSD and AUDUSD are knocking on support levels both will surely hit the floor.

Watch the prices NOW. Ready your itchy sell fingers (for both if you want to).

(PS.this is for quick 10-20 pips scalping)

Yes, have sold the break, I will be holding out for 93, no SL, sold GU also. In my mind, a move like this before Asia officially opens shows very aggressive bearish sentiment, and I will be going with the flow here for sure.

Im now in at 0.96924.. not the best entry price though..

EUR in a lower high wedge can only mean break of 1.3320.. i could be wrong though... short squeeze in mind

bought to cover short, 48 pip (.9745) to .9697... after the testing of .9680. Will wait for next short, a break below ... .9680, or another test of the upper .9740 area.

no, not really, l just see prices going from one level to another, this should be a sell but should retrace to a higher supply, maybe around 0.97200 area

its got a diamond configuration on 5 min


from this demand level its likley to be a diamond that resolves north, my breakeven is holding for now

Patience, and understand Position Sizing, you don't need a BIG trade / RISK to make money, only the scalpers here with too big size worry about 10 pips up or down.
