How to attach an indicator to MT4 chart

i have downloaded many indicators but, always i couldn't it implement corectlly. have tried various combinations, but no success.

I attached couple of them. could anyone explain how to attach it to a chart.

metaeditor-new-compiled-no errors -then drag to a chart and the result is always negative. i use mt4 demo

Here is something I learned about MT4. When I want to set up a new chart to watch a currency pair I used to create the candle colors, background, 1 hr and 4 hr MS lines, Vegas Daily model, etc for each chart.

I found it is MUCH easier to get one chart set up exactly the way I want it for each time frame and save it as a Template. Then when I want to create a new chart I simple apply the template to the new chart. All of the colors, VB stuff for the 1 hr., 4 hr and Daily is there. The only thing I have to modify is the Risk Model used for the different currency pairs.

I am not sure if I got your quesiton right.

If you are going to add an new indicator, here is the way I did:

1.Close MT4.0
2.Go to the MT folder, go to experts, go to customer indicators.
3.Copy and paste the mq4 file into the customer indicators folder.
4.Restart MT4.0 and seek for your indicator in the customer indicator column. Double click it and it should be implemented into your graph.

See if it works.

I actually made a mistake in my stepts. The folder is called "indicators", not "customer indicators".

Really not comp. savvy. Re #2 above---where do I find the MT folder. In fact, what exactly do I click on?
