Hi, I'm trying to use this system, but I'm having a problem with the template. I downloaded all the files from the first post, but when I apply the template to the chart I can't see some of the lines. Am I forgetting something?

I have attached a print from my graph.

You seem to be missing the EMA 2,15 Crossover_mod2.
Be sure it is in your expert/indicator folder.

WRONG---- you are missing the ma in color indicator.

The buy sell scripts that were posted here seem to only work on EURUSD for me. What might I be doing wrong?

No ideea. Here they work on every pair. Are you sure price is not to close to the Close[1] + 4 pips?

Its my hope we solved some the glitches we had

arrows on ema chould work better

trendcandles indicator chould not repaint 1 candle anymore

and the we added a macd help indicator so solve the discussion about above/below zero line.

if the new indikator is red macd is below zero.

if its green its above.

if its yelow its nothing.

there is a buffer build it on that indicator for now use0.5...

I posted a similar approach a few days ago re. EU and EJ as JPY leg of EJ has lost the momentum since August and hence EJ's move replicates EU. I totally agree with you. What I am doing is just picking one of them and trading it for 15 or 20 pips, whatever the TP is according to rules, and then when I hit it, I call it a day (since last thursday, my success rate is 100% and traded every day (mostly GBPUSD)). 15-25 pips per day is more than enough to make you rich in the long run if you know how to use those pips (compounding, MM). I know it is a cliche but it is true, this is a marathon not a sprint race.

I totally understand that this is a mechanical system but that does not mean I should take every signal if I reach my daily pip target. Overtrading is the enemy of intraday systems as it is really difficult to be on the right side of the market more than 50% of the time, especially the forex market where volatility is much higher compared to other markets. When you look at the history of trading systems, most successful ones have 1:4, 1:5 or more RR and just 30-40% winning ratio (and most are trend following systems).

EURUSD-AUDUSD correlation - last 3 months - 0.86, last 6 months - 0.84

EURUSD-GBPUSD correlation - last 3 months - 0.90, last 6 months - 0.88

Almost 9 out of 10 trades, you are doubling or tripling your risk when you open all positions at the same time, in the same direction. Trading is all about managing risk. When you open a position, the first question you ask yourself should be how much I will lose, not how much I will profit. Hope this makes sense.

Hi Peter, first let me thank you and others for the continued efforts in improving the Fratelli system. I've been doing a fair bit of back testing with the latest changes re: MA cross and the ST candle mod and have noticed two significant occurrences that I think are well worth investigating (with respect to feedback to the system).

1) EMA crossover: the faster EMA has been changed from 2 to 4 and although many arrows line up, some don't. As a consequence we do get late entries, which is common sense, but more importantly there are many successful trades that are missed altogether (purple arrows=2, white arrows=4).

2) Supertrend Candle mod: long re-entry arrows above the 89 line provide us with additional potentially profitable trades regardless of colour and conversely for short trades.

Please take time to examine the following random examples (all charts are EU) and your own charts, I would value your opinion.
