there is 60++ pips down...but still have support on march at 0.9698 area...if break will 60 pips more ...any commen?
be patient, self-belief and discipline... stay focus...

From what I gathered, 0.9720-0.9700 is a good support, next is low 0.96 so yes, your observation sync with what I know..


I am contemplating closing my short at 0.9725 seeing 0.9700 is strong support.

The charts indicates downward pressure, but charts didn't mean anything during the last few turnarounds, I am actually betting the european leaders will come up with some market magic, now that their bond yields are hovering around DANGER level.
European leaders are dumb , slow , lazy , selfish , vain , stand offish , but look they aren't suicidal, if this shit goes on for another 6 months, Euro is fucking dead, so yeah i'm betting these idiots will wise up, no technicals, no fundamentals just pure gut feeling.

Only solution to this crisis : KICK GERMANY OUT of the EURO so ECB can save the euro. I don't see why germany needs to pay for piigs.

0.935 is the previous daily low before it rose to 1.07 then RBA cut rates and EURO continues being dumb so it drops to .97 now. although .935 it's a decent support, but if you factor in a rate cut after RBA playing it safe

0.925 is a SOLID support

I'd agree kicking germany. Merkel just stated "extraordinarily inappropriate" for ecb Eurobond. Germany isn't going to help out the ailing members.

Based on Fibonachi retracement from 0.9388 to 1.0753, I decide to trade against trend and try to see if it works.
Enter 0.025 lot long at 0.9720, s/l at 0.9650, 1st tp 0.99, 2nd tp 1.0040 and final tp 1.0220..

The only thing that might be dead is your account for that purpose,everytime market starts moving into one direction for a while,kids start to cry about doomsday and other $h^t when euro was 1.20 everyone were shouting about euro being 1:1 with $,and unless you live on the moon no one cares in society if greece or some other country goes bankcrupt or some banks go out of business,so grow pair of balls and trade instead of preaching.

I am long...i have been waiting and waiting and waiting....finally, I am long again. We have exited alot of our euro holding's and now we are entering cash positions into the aud, nzd and sek. Not necessarily against the usd.

I agree about following the trend, like i said , I see downwards pressure and a strong resistance at .935 but this is just one of those gut moments where i'm feeling IT. I have to warn you guys not to follow me. I'm not trading at a tight margin, and my SL is at 0.900 , plus I have good buffer (my shorts at 1.05ish level). Technically, If you are hoping for a reversal, a good long will be at 0.92 - .093 level.

Well I may not be following the charts or fundamentals now, but i'm betting on government intervention. That's it , plain simple government intervention.

Hi all... Hope the greens are in your favour. Looking at some of the post here makes me wonder at times on how people anticipate things to happen and seems to have a crystal ball on what the future holds. I wish i have that vision but the thing is we are living at the present moment and presently my chart indicates a strong bearish sentiment and i trade based on what i see or unless my chart is upside down then i am wrong then.

But whatever it is, i wish everyone well, be it bearish bullish and ranging, we make money from it.

Then why not wait for it to happen instead of anticipating for it?
Back in USDJPY @ 90s I did the same thing thinking BOJ will intervene. Needless to say, USDJPY is now 77s.

Anticipating for the Intervention is not a good idea.
It would be best to listen to news feeds.

Currently, I am waiting for EU intervention as well. That should drive AUDUSD, EURUSD up. It will not be late to JOIN should it happen. But before that happens, I am shorting AUDUSD... My account is very fat x6 in 2 weeks.

SNB and BOJ intervention because they dont want strong swiss and yen harmful their export but why ECB also wants to intervention?? I think German will happy if EU is under 1.38.

Agree 100%. I am not currently at the desk, but my technical analysis does not indicate a buying opportunity (of greater than 20-30 pips). My target was 0.96700, and it was broken after Obama's Thanksgiving ceremony (hysterical). Either way, fellas: Fundamentally speaking it's looking rather bleak.

New Target 0.9501, if we break that support, we're looking at lower levels for AUD/USD 0.9300 and thereabouts.

took retest of .9680 line for a small long opportunity, target #1 .9750, target #2 .9800 (retest of yesterday's) then will, hopefully take opportunity to go short
