DislikedHey man, Dean has contributed so much to this thread! In that sense, have respect for the guy! Who wouldn't loose patience if you keep on answering the same questions over and over again. When, as a matter of fact, those questions can be answered if you just read the thread.
If you really don't like the guy, then by all means leave this thread.
So far, on my part he has contributed to my learning and trading.

I don't think all of it its personal some of it is for everyone else to take notice too and that's certainly including you , to firstly speak with respect when smoothly defending ones effort which is admirable but putting down the other by practicing being kick off or suspecting true intentions, while losing site on important matters at hand which is to focus on forward testing and exchanging good ideas with all members in a manner of class and peace.
I have no intention to argue with you sport.. when your right your right so...
Now, let's just trade and be pip-full!

The way i see it, they are trying to find a perfect system, which certainly does not exist!
As long as the winning percentage is far-off bigger than the losses, then it's a good working system.
If somebody cannot trade it that way, then it's their loss...
Pls. continue with your work together with Peter, so many more are behind you....
i understand people throw blame when they did something wrong, i do the same, but when not following rules can get a bit tedious.
But again i will march on and continue to forward test and help Peter to improve the system along the way

I've attached a picture to explain how I think you trade the "all signals don't line up on the same bar" condition, and how to exit if you don't hit the TP or SL. Peter, Dean, is the picture correct? What about if the histo turned positive?

22 Nov Fratelli backtest on NY hours (9am - 5pm ET, 1400-2200 GMT)
AUDUSD:
13:10 GMT -- SAR entry, short @ 0.9849, rapidly hit TP -- +20
19:00 GMT -- cross down & arrow, but green & pos histo. Red & neg histo at 19:50, enter at 0.98329. Just barely hit in 20:10 bar. Went about 18 pips against it, then went down again. If we close at 22:00 GMT it makes 3.5 pips, otherwise close on the green bar at 22:30 for -5.3. I'll say +3.5 pips since I said I'd test 9-5 NY time. (Then it would have gotten a +20 TP in the 01:10 bar, ohwell)
EURJPY:
15:40 GMT -- Arrow down, but blocked by pos histo
15:50 GMT -- EMA cross, plus now histo unblocks prev signal. Enter at 104.03. Got down to 103.911 (~12 open pips), then up. First green candle didn't quite hit SL, so exit at close = 104.160 -- -13
19:30 GMT -- cross down with green candle. 19:40 bar turned red. Enter at 103.941, just hit in 19:50 bar. -8.2 if closed at 22:00 GMT, -20 if left to run until 00:50. (Then +20 winner at 02:00, after hours)
EURUSD:
15:40 GMT -- cross down & arrow with green candle. 15:50 bar turns red, entry price is 1.34914. Hit in 16:00 bar, got as low as 1.34829 (8.5 open), then turned up. First green bar closed at 1.34991 -- -7.7
17:00 GMT -- cross up & arrow. Enter at 1.35305, highest it got was 1.35414 (10.9 open), move stop to -10. Hit in 17:40 bar -- -10
18:10 GMT -- SAR, but histo neg. Histo pos at 18:40 but never triggered.
Total:
AUDUSD -- +20 +3.5 = +23.5
EURJPY -- -13 -8.2 = -21.2
EURUSD -- -7.7 -10 = -17.7
So the day was 23.5 - 21.1 - 17.7 = -15.3.
Not a great day but better than the -46.1 Dean got in the Euro session.
