Sorry Blackeagle but this is not how Dean has just said he operates.

He clicks the buy button when 1.3545 is seen on his bid charts. That enters a buy order at 1.3545 + spread = 1.3548 in my case.

He doesn't use pending orders but if he did he would be entering at 1.3545 +
spread.

Then go to post# 639 and read Fratelli's response about spread. SPREAD IS INCLUDED. If close price of signal bar is 1.3541, then entry would be
@1.3545. Spread included means actually entry price is at 1.3544 but Peter puts 1 pip spread for longs (no spread for shorts, so it is 3 pips) and therefore trade should be executed at 1.3545 (considering your broker's spread is 1 pip). If you are entering at 1.3548, that means everytime you are giving to me 3 pips of $$$, so please continue to do so, thanks very much.

Re. how Dean is trading, you can either use market order, in that case you need to click on buy button when bid price is at 1.3544, or you can enter a pending order at 1.3545 when the bar closed. Doesn't make difference. But if Dean is clicking on buy button when bid price is @1.3545, that means he is using 4 pips buffer plus spread and this is his choice. According to the rules which have been stated clearly by thread owner at post# 639, spread is included within 4 pips buffer, PERIOD.

In these instances when the call is close, you can use the values on MACD indicator window. It was -0.000021, so was below the yellow line and actually a valid signal stopped out two bars later with up arrow.
