Guys i have posted a question earlier regarding the re-entry white arrow signals on post #413.

I only have 10 posts so my post #413 only appeared 30 mins after, I'm afraid it got overlooked, so pls guys, read my post #413 and please enlighten on the issue....

There are a number of people questioning the MA cross, one person sppotted that it was based on LWMA not EMA, ok this isn't an issue, but it appears that arrows are missing when the cross only lasts for one bar.

I believe Peter and others have put alot of time and effort into visually backtesting, but the missing arrows may have affected the results?

Can any one fix this issue?

if it only lasts for 1 bar then to me its not pointing it out, because its not confirmed hence only being for one bar, ill have to speak to Peter see what he says, but i think that is the case

the reason is most probably broker server differences. some take sunday data into consideration and some don't. my arrow is also at the same point as yours.

hello mr. dean. nice you joined this thread, when i saw you here, it really gave me a good feeling....

anyway, yeah, it's good our charts looked the same, but how come X58 got a better and earlier signal candle than ours? is this just normal that there's a time difference in the appearance of the signal candle? having X58 and ours at the same will be very good though...what do you think is the cause of this?

because its monday, some brokers open earlier than others, and start counting sunday 10 min candles, until official market open, so for now our ma crosses might be slightly different, but of course mor into market we will all have the same, that is the reason

thanks ismail for your reply, i understand what you mean...i'm using two different brokers right now and the price they reflect has only a difference of +/- 2 the most...

definitely the main parameter used on this indi are the prices right, so if that's the case there wouldn't be much difference on the desired outcome from two different brokers, right?

or is there any other more precise cause of this difference?

btw, mr. dean you seemed to be very active on this system, are you still using your powerful Supply and Demand? maybe you have an ea already for it so you can leave it now and help others?

my supply and demand is my bread and butter and my main source of income for trading, i trade 4hr daily etc, so once i in a trade can be a while so i need something to keep me active inbtween, so i withdrawn $500 out my live account into a second account, to play with mechanical systems like this.
now at only 10 cents a pip with fratelli im on nearly $522 in less than a week

Hello, this is my 1st timer post ever. I'm not sure if someone already asked this as i didn't read all the comment, Sorry.
If this is a 10min based strategy, is it still the same if i use the 5min chart and i double up the settings, since 10 = 5x2?
example:
- faster & slower EMA = 2 & 15 shifted to 4 & 30
- MA in color period = 89 shifted to 178
- MACD 12,26,10 shifted to 24,52,20
- and so on

is it still the same?

Thanks for precisely pointing the problem dave. let's all do a research on this problem. you are so right in saying that this would really affect the backtesting results and also our trades....although this system , as it is, is already producing so positively, there is always room for perfection for all our benefit...

its already sorted lol, its only broker sunday open difference that is all. Backtesting will show the same on whatever broker peter backtested on

alright, just to clear things up, you mean to say that if it's tuesday onwards, we wouldn't have this problem at all? all our charts would look exactly the same?

yes i already replied, i think its because if its only for one candle, then its not strong enoough so no arrow will appear we want good confirmation, so one candle is not good enough.
