It will be interesting to see what next week brings us.

I am eye balling a potential "Contrarian Reversal" Set up next week. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Hey guys! after looking at your posts i was wondering if the sudden downturn of EUR/USD @09/11/11 1.37988 is because of the fundamental news or technical issue? I'm currently still using a demo account and i lost alot of money due to that.

I think this week fundamental developments effect EU.. Resignation of two PM Papandreu and Berlusconi, will not prevent bearish tendency.. I am expect that next week EU will be 1.33

Hi Jackson, thanks for come in my thread.
No idea about fundamentals, because I never read fundamental news
I trade based on pure technical analysis. This is my trading style.

So I will explain to you base on technical analysis,
why there has been a sudden downmove on EUR/USD recently, because the price has break the lower wedge, as seen in pictures below

hi,

one of the few very useful thread. i always come to ff to listen to a few point of view before executing my trades.

however, i'm not very good with technicals as i just started. I trade more to the news and when prices are at a high/low.

looking forward to learn lots here.

btw, i long eur/usd as i believe that positive market sentiment will push it at least today / tomorrow.

Also, a question to all - is there such a things like 'every time is a trading time' meaning, you can pose in winning trade at anytime? haha. i don't believe in that but some of my scalping friends firmly believe in it!

haha. i shorted it after a while as the chart shows sign of a bear.. really scaryto trade

That is a wrong mindset, not everytime is a trading time. trade only when you see an opportunity. patience and dont hesitate to open a new trade

Yes, from the technicle side, it does goes down, but for EUR/USD, it's not so volatile, so it kind of surprises me when it made such a huge move :/

In my opinion, EUR/USD is quite volatile and such a trending pair.
so its not surprising to make that big moves.
I have seen, EUR/USD even have a bigger move than yesterdays.

Price indecision seen at chart, price keep hanging at the resistance level.
if there is more seller interest in this setups, price will go down.
if there is no more seller, then the price will break this reistance and go to find a valid supply level above.
