Every time there is an intervention I have noticed that as soon as it is over price just drops after that, it will prob be easier to just short after the intervention is over LOL.
This is 'cause boj interventions are designed to hurt 'some' speculators and discourage them from taking further long yen positions. They have realized that this has only short term effect and speculators return quicker than they've left.
...but... this is going to change very soon. Expect boj to follow snb moves.
Old speculators will be 'wiped out', just watch s&p for clues...

There is something hiding in there, that can make you very wealthy over the years if you're observant.
Like razorman's observation... If you just follow the crowd and do nothing that will make you stand out, and propel you to the next level, chances of survival in this sharks invested business are slim, very slim.
And that's regardless of what everyone tells you and wants you to beli3v3.

I am not the man himself but i'll have a shot. Boj knows that if S&P will continue upward then JPY will get sold but other scenario which is S&P falling back below 1200 will keep BOJ on its toes. After SNB intervention the positive risk-averse correlation of CHF broke down hence SNB-like intervention might be the only longer-term option for BOJ......but boy, that would have to be BIG.... Am i somewhere near ? ....and where would the big money move then???
