31 nhen, thats nothing!!, almost 6pm here and tipping 52!!!!..................oohh, your talking celcius and i'm talking Farenheight!!. dreary damp short autumn days here, I can only dream of 31c.

Not a bad weeks trading, trades more akin to islander and medici's methods than just rounds and quarters.( I've read your posts there, I & M are top notch traders for FO/LO). Internet still not fixed here, but just goes to prove you dont need blistering warpspeed broadband to blaze a trail in forex. 0.1mb does however put a dampener on alot of pics and youtube!!.

hope everyones caught some good moves this week.

As for the levels and I & M's way of trading, I am using both too. But our levels from here are still a massive part of my approach. I just don't adhere to the 2 levels and change direction clues during FO and LO.

Here's a chart of how we could have traded Friday FO and LO. The levels provide some nice clues combined with LH/HLs etc and candle info from 5M and 15M. I am not really looking at the MA cross all that much anymore, I still have it open on my 1M but as you can see everything is in the tick data anyway.
Some trades I place right at the levels and some around them, some PTs are 10-12 pips and some are more.
This is the way I am looking to trade from now on, and what I have been working on so far this month. Really focussing on these times and becoming a master of trading them.
Doing it this way has resulted in taking far less stops; I am letting price show me more before entering now. I was too rigid with the levels last month and was giving back more than was necessary. Now I take a stop or two in sloppy PA or when I make mistakes but apart from that I'm OK.
(That is no put down on the levels, quite the opposite, more of a put down on my previous approach to them.)

One thing that has been golden is that the past 3-4 months I have gotten used to taking a lot of stops, and the last month or two still being profitable each night. Coming from that to how I am approaching things now means that a few stops don't mean anything.
I used to have nights where I could take 8+ stops and still be profitable, so you can imagine taking 3 (on a challenging night) now is child's play

10:30 at night.... 70 degrees. That's 21 for you Nic... This weather right here....this is why I live in South Florida. The fall and winters are exceptional. Enjoy your weekend kids... Back to it on Monday!

Hi Mong, That's what I call rubbing it in my friend. I can however confirm that the sun is shining today for us here in the UK. (13.2c).

Nhen, Have never got the hang of ema angle zero like inslander uses. For me Friday was a textbook pattern and cii day for me, momentum pulse, retrace, pulse.
First Trade based on consolidation just above RN, cii divergence and MM level. buy favoured (+10)
Second trade - retrace (100% even better!! usually have a look for the 61.8 level but got engrossed in an e-mail luckily this time) Cii divergence again and same level MM. (+23)

Would be nice to repeat tomorrow.

I made some mistakes this morning and gave back more than I have been recently (bar fri night). Ended up about 2% in the green, my daily target is fair bit above that.

Gonna call it over here.. order some pizza and relax for awhile, maybe run nude through the street to cool down

I was hanging out in the EU since Friday and just clocked out there for a short some good pluses.

Pizza, morning here, but that made me instantly hungry!

+4,+2,-10.

First -went for the bounce off the monthly pivot, started to turn so bottled it +4.
second- went for the bounce off the weekly pivot, again started turning round again - double jitters out for +2. Hindsight tells me I should have held and got that nice pulse.
third - thought it was going to be a repeat like fridays move and went for the 61 retrace which of course went pear shaped -10.

better luck tomorrow perhaps, should I dust off the RB's?

Night for us in the land of down under

I got ya, watch for those LHs they provided some nice clues last night. The chop during the Frankie hour was a bit of a bummer, not as clean as it normally is, but once it cleared there was a nice move.
Yep RBs can help too it seems
