problem with F9 is for example:

Resistance Level 1 (R1) = PivotPoint + SQRT(SQRT(PivotPoint))

not the square root of ( square root of the 1.3588 ) is 1.07953.

now if you add that back you get that R1 is 2.43765. sure its a resistance, but ... obviously I am missing something. maybe its the lack of sleep

I just cant imagine, being in those trenches, mud, cold, rats, bugs, eating in there, sleeping in there, then having bastards shoot at you, or tanks roll over, planes dropping god know what from above, I mean just a bloody hell..I cant only imagine going through, for years, then it stopping, I mean if you made it out of there, alive, the rest of your days must have been heaven on earth I suspect...

ok, they ones about, where you take fibs of the range and add or subtract them to the pivot, I have toyed with...I have also toyed with using the close...they where of some value...

Each day you slide over a day, using the previous 5 day range. This way I can take into account the most recent volatility or range. I wonder if it has any merit...perhaps other periods, 3 days, 8 days, 30 days, 55, or 365..

why not take the normal daily ATR, its quite consistently going up and down...

not a bad idea. let me produce something. just have to figure out the formula to automate the whole thing

You may want to check the relations between angles and the square root first.

I don't use these formulas so take it with a pinch of salt but from a mathematical point of view, you may need to square the result of the 2nd part of the equation. Something like the SQRT of the pivot + whatever angle correlation for example 45 degrees [0.005] (or related 90, 180) and squared all that + the pivot will give you the next pivot, etc, etc
