hey you meta gurus. my meta in freezing up. im going to delete it. my question is. is there a way to save my charts. so i can reload them back in my new meta. if so, what file are the charts in? i cant find them.

Save your charts as templates, there's a template folder inside your main MT folder where you can save, copy them

Hi Gator,

inside the Meta-folder, there is a folder called "profiles". Make a backup of that one.

Just in case, the only other way is to save every single chart as a template and copy them over to the new location. Then, you can just open a new chart and apply the template.

G first try to delete all the ex4 files from the indicators folder then try again

Go into your history folder and delete all of the charts in there. You have most likely opened a zillion charts and after you close them they can still keep processing information. Delete all history and delete all deleted charts, that'll most likely get ya good...

C:/program files/Yourbroker/History ->go into live server and demo server if ya and rip em all...this will still keep your charts entact but they will take a few mins to update.

C:/program files/yourbroker/deleted ->charts you have deleted that may still be running...delete these bitches too.

Run CCleaner to clean your history, and then run registy cleaner, you don't need to back up nothing. Free safe shit and will keeps ya clean here as well...

Run a quick reboot and Viola!
