euro indices all down nearly 2% already, ny futures down 1% too.. boy am i eager to see how the rest of today pans out. looking to sell on a pullback here, regardless of if its a small one

sell order at 0350.. 3 hours till ny open lets see if it can crawl there

Poor news all around, es down, ny futures down, pending french downgrade, and no clarity with respect to greece, gold headed up, china looks cloudy.

imo parity hinges on poor trade balance.

keeping an eye on it - given pair extremely vulnerable to news.

has two 0.01 short positions @1.0350. Moved SL to BE. targeting 1.0260

Short in at 1.0374. Going for 1.0160. SL 1.0394.....short scalp, will get out probably before the announcement no matter where it is.

AUD/USD @1.0380

Is Bunga Bunga now a Gonna Gonna ?

Seems that the Italian PM maybe replaced which could result in their Govt focusing on other figures besides 36-24-36..
This has set a firmer tone for risk players or the shorts to bottle.

Todays range should be contained within 1.0320 1.0430

Waiting for the outer range levels 1.00-1.02 1.06-1.07 to trade overnight positions

Should be .028, but didn't matter. Never reached .040

So, big news coming in 20 mins... going further down (in addition to the news that the Euro Finmins can't agree on the EFSF.

still in my short from 1.0382 with SL 1.0482...
I was looking for a TPp at 1.0000, but not sure when to get out...

went in @1.0364 before the news (0.01 lot), currently SL at 1.0352 (locking in 10 pips) and letting this run through 1.03

i havent even got a short running so im probably not the right person to give advice. but judging from our recent experiences, i'd say 1.0220 and 1.0120 respectively are some major supports. and of course 1.0280 has provided support in the past (as recently as yesterday).

im looking at a buy at that level in fact..waiting on a retest

edit: got a bit impatient and jumped in at 0310, will add more hopefully if we can get to and then bounce off 0280. will close both positions if 0280 doesnt hold

I managed to close my earlier sell close to my TP, so bagged another 40+ pips there.

gotta be happy with that, a textbook rejection at 0281. managed to add another buy at 0285 and move my SL to BE, not confident enough to say we're done with that 0280 just yet

edit: just noticed the euro equities are flying in early hours of trade.. boggles my mind how fearless and eager for good news those euro investors are being right now. on a day when italy and greek could have new PM's

never seen liquidity so thin like this when euro and ny markets are overlapping, feels ominous almost.. surely some news on the horizon. still got the longs running but keeping close eye on market behaviour
