Nubcake, when you internet drops out at home do you expect the telco to tell you when it will be fixed. Or, do you just decide I won't surf the web so its not a problem??

Like I said, not a problem for me anymore, and I wont be baited again on the matter.

but some would rather keep hitting themselves over and over until someone tells them to stop. will an email from anyone make the spread any better? if you aren't trading then you don't care about the spread, and if you are trading you can already see it with your own two eyes... so what exactly do you expect of gom?

seriously, what do you expect, and what do you expect to get...

this suggest to me, and i'm sure to you and anyone else with any common sense, that gom are likely very busy trying to deal with a bunch of issues.

why oh why doesn't chris come here and yadda yadda yadda and so on? probably because he's bloody busy trying to fix shit instead of wasting time here, but some people consider it more important that someone log onto a forum and waste time trying to be business-savy in relaying that they are in the process of dealing with one thing or another.

what people fail to understand is that there will always be something. whether you see it, know it, taste it, or not. there is always something to deal with in business each and every day, and some days are better than others and some are worse than others. yet when it's obvious to everyone that gom clearly have a lot to deal with they expect gom to stop what they are doing, get on here, and try and be as politically correct and discreet as possible in replying to a million posts instead of getting their job done.

are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet?

well, are we there yet? how many pages of whining do we need before people realize that it's futile. there is no doubt in my mind that gom's phones are probably busier than usual as well, so whoever the poor sod is who has to answer the calls is obviously not getting any work done either. i wouldn't be surprised if it's chris who answers the phone.

moral of the story : CALM DOWN!!! if you don't have an account elsewhere that you can use in the meantime then go outside and get a coffee or get laid or watch a movie or something.

you don't understand.... i GET what you have been saying.

the point is that no matter how much whining, arguing, bashing, crying, or whatever anyone does it will not make things better any faster than it will get better. in fact, expecting gom to stop what they are doing and attend to all this bitching and moaning is surely making the process of making things better take much much longer. refer to previous post.

it's been pages so far today of this stuff..... so what good has come of it? how many pages are enough?

obviously chris isn't the entirety of gom, but how many people do YOU expect to be working there each day? do you think they have an office tower where every floor is dedicated to a particular aspect of the running of gom? how many floors? 10? 20? 100?

if you think the solution to whatever their issues are is simply then they should be employing you to help them get it all sorted. in the meantime i'll sit on the assumption that they are busy doing whatever it is they do each day as well as probably dealing with tech issues on top of that, and on the list of things they need to do today getting on forex factory isn't even on the list.

the next time your pc starts acting-up and you spend all night diagnosing the issue then think back to times like now and have a little sympathy for gom.

give a little love

(my bullshitting skill is average. writing skill? lol, ta)

anyway the facts are we all know that something ain't right. we all know that there are other brokers. we all know about risk management, right? so people should really consider spreading their equity into more than one place. you know what they say about putting your eggs all in one basket, right? some day you will likely find gom being the best broker to use at that time for whatever reason, and other days not so much.

You make a lot of assumptions my friend. Anyone in business knows that it is easier to keep your existing customers than it is to get new ones. We just want some contact from GOM. How long have these issues been going on?? Most people have several accounts with various brokers. I think where money is concerned, most people take it pretty seriously.

Not really they might have less than 10 staff and chat team is out sourced one (most of the time chat team don't have clue).

... well, most of that garbage-explanation cross unconvincing-defence of GoMarkets stuff-ups is your own postings
in which you're simply denying importance of those issues or the rights to complaining about very bad service.

i don't deny importance of service. i deny importance of moaning and crying and page after page after page after page of the same old thing.

get on the phone and make a call if it's just that important to get some form of update. otherwise just sit on your hands and show some patience. everyone wants to be angry because nobody is trolling the forum and replying to all of this. no one knows what is going on. for all anyone knows gom might be about to initiate something that makes them the best broker in the universe. but everyone wants to jump down the throat of gom because their petty forum posts aren't being replied to and a pointless email wasn't broadcast to the world. again, when has gom, or anywhere really, ever broadcast their shortcomings by email to all customers? that's like macdonalds emailing everyone that a store found a dead raccoon in one of their ovens, or one of their workers with the flu sneezed on 50 burgers last week, and so on.

in a world of possibilities anything is possible. have a little patience and put down the pitchforks.

Quite severe - 20 pips added on all pairs, so far at 6:45, 7:00 GMT, for about 1 minute - Looks like its wrapped around news

No such widening on Pepper, FinFX or any other platforms i can see

20 pips can cause problems to existing running positions, so sitting on hands (read this nubcake) isnt always an option

Been on live chat - they have no idea

i wouldn't call having open positions when the spreads are so flaky as "sitting on your hands".

WTF!!!

Loyal customer for 3 years, I have officially withdrew my funds and this will be my last post on this thread.

The lack of communication when problems arise, the fact that there's always problems arising, high spreads, no rebates, slow execution times, and a new "issue" every single week is just too exhausting for me. I dont think I can even bear to hear the words "wait till Monday and everything should be great" EVER again!

I WANT TO TRADE!!! Not have to always come to this forum to find out the latest excuse to the latest problem.

Some of you speak with such loyalty (nubcake), even making up lame excuses for this mess when you don't even know whats going on.(Not even Go's live chat knows) There's nothing wrong with customers voicing their opinions first, before ending their relationship, it at least gives the broker a heads up that they need to change or they will lose their clients. There's comes a point when loyalty becomes stupidity... Now is that time

Thank you Chris & GO for everything, I wish you well in the future and hope to hear you fixed all you need to fix. we all miss the way you guys used to be and I would hate to hear the words bucket shop become associated in any way with GO

I was just wondering, if you guys could answer, if you hadn't signed up with GoM, which broker would you have signed up with?

And with the current issues, which broker would you prefer to be with right now? Same as above or another?
