Here is the report, taken again a couple of minutes ago. The only time I've had slow execution is when trading Gold when the Gold market is closed - so understandable really.
DislikedHas anyone answered this yet as to why the spreads are so insanely high lately?
I stuck around after they took rebates away but I opened multiple accounts with other brokers. Go is always 1 full pip higher. When my other brokers are 1.5 Go is always 2.5 etc AND I am getting rebates back off my other brokers too. Ill stick around till Friday and see if it's just a temporary thing.Ignored
Dislikedpending order test show communication speed only. it wan't tell you the real execution speed as it's not need to communicated with LP and find hedging for your order, basically if everyone run similar EA 24 x 6 MT4 server will get overloaded and execution will get worsen. if your are connected to Sydney modify order always at top speed.Ignored
Dislikedok that was shit. it was an obvious mistake and i think i've cleaned it all up now. i know i keep saying this, but i'm tired (when am i not?) and i should be asleep right now. the source is there so people can make of it what they want.
personally what i would do with a script like this is bind a shortcut key to it, and also have another script that sets the global var to 1 (which causes this script to end itself nicely) bound to another shortcut key. from this you can simply switch the script on and off by 2 simple shortcut keys much like...Ignored

DislikedThank you for your time and skills Nubcake, i'll take a good look at all your coding shortly.Ignored
DislikedI did not write it as a script because then you can't run other scripts on that chart, i didn't write it as an ea should be because then the exact time would not necessarily be 29 seconds (at least to my thinking).
DislikedI discovered it was exactly 30 seconds, and then Chris confirmed this to me. It is the same with all MT4 brokers, as they all use the same MT4 backend server software.
DislikedI spoke to Chris about having 12*60*2=1440 live trades placed/altered per day and he said it would be okay. Maybe if every live client did this though it would not be okay...
DislikedI didn't use milli-second timing due to the variability of output of cpu, which varies the number of milli-seconds in a second, if you cpu is heavily loaded it will result in >1000 ms per actual real time second, and vice versa. Accurate durations can be calculated by finding the mean of a large number of whole second values, either 0 or 1.
DislikedIf they really do that to your live acc. I will leave at once! Anyone else have the same problem??Ignored
Dislikedthanks mohan, I have test both Sydney and Melbourne, the reports are all the same.Ignored
