some may disagree but from the agressiveness of that selloff only to quickly return to the pre data levels says "stop hunt"... if you go back and look at pre fomc and non farm days you will notice these things aways happen because dealers like to clear books pre big news

so knowing this you can better handle the volatility that we saw today bc you fade the spikes and liquidate into the stop levels ... so it does not seem like a bunch of bullshit it actually has a purpose..

these guys like anyone else do not like to be over exposed comming into big news days

um i went long at the bottom at 1.0210 ant liquidated 5min before the data came out at 1.0380.... target was 1.0400 but i wanted to be flat for the data so i just took it... close enough lol

then waited for the data and faded the spike up... the spike up was a stop hunt north and when price hit the stops price retreated aggressively for a stop hunt in the opposite direction...

i only took 38 pips or something on the short bc i got in late... bc i misjudged the initial spike.. i did not know how far exactly they were gonna go north and did not want to mess up the long profits i just bagged and gold was rallying etc..

so all in all about 190 pips give or take with both trades

i posted the long setup about an hour before i took it... and took it at london open.. i was hoping some others would notice the same and get in for some easy pips

nice one. the slide(s) after ecb were nice scalps for 100+. I got out at .3670 on e/u and turned in, missed the 200pip reversal. But that's ok, I slept well.

For NFP I see a green number, and a Friday risk rally continuation.

ill just kind of play it by ear and see how we set up for nfp...i hope we are not just flatlined all night but after all the movement this am i suspect we might be until we get our data
