1.5-2.0 now

I suppose to trade next week as my money was arrived.

Hope to see low spread on EU and UCHF, I dont trade other pairs.

Why? I'll tell you why, it is not so much about the spreads now, but that is the underlying problem.

Every broker website has the page "WHY trade with us?" and they all say the same thing = lowest spreads

So why should we let them get away with this?

Join them for a reason and then that get jerked away in a heartbeat, and they don't eve have the common courtesy to give us a warning email?

They have a system that can send messages through MT4 and I also get an email everyday (personally into my inbox that does tell me what day it is!!!) about their forecast of what is "likely" to be a good trading idea. They don't have to find us individually for a special person message at great trouble, just a confidence boosting little message of reasurrance would maybe go a long way.

Then again, maybe a lot of clients don't know, or care what the spread is, or hear news that other aussie fx dealers are going down the crapper. Maybe we are all just sheep that pump money in and don't care about the claims that were advertised by the company??? Yep, how about some communication to make our liitle hearts feel warmer and fuzzier, instead of wondering if we should put in for a redemption?

Do you have an android smart phone? There is a gomarket trading app that has a screen that shows the spreads on several currency pairs at the same time, as well as the current trades you have, and the ability to open, close, modify etc. I find it an easy way to see the spreads changing tick by tick.

The spreads in the past have been very competitive "in my opinion". (I say that as I am sure others could have different opinions!) Hopefully spreads will return to good levels soon as Chris did say they are working on it.

i really like how your chart doesn't even have the 2300 hour data and just completely cuts that entire section out along with some of the 0000 hour data, y'know, a LARGE PORTION OF THE DEAD MOVEMENT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND WHICH YOU DENY.

so what? shit happens? if you don't like it you move on to somewhere else.

chris doesn't need, and will never be expected, to email everyone each time he takes a dump or is eating his lunch. if you open the platform and it's not how you expect then you move to somewhere that IS how you expect. in the meantime you have no right to expect them to change all of their advertising just because for a week or so their setup is currently broken, and you have no right to expect emails about this that and the other. you open the platform, you see something isn't right, and you know without having to be told.

chris's presence here is simply being taken for granted. he's given an inch and everyone is trying to take a mile. there's aspects of the service i don't like, but if it was that big of a deal i'd move somewhere else. shit or get off the pot. in the meantime i expect them to operate like any other business and as far as i can tell they are doing just that.

advertising to the world and potential new customers that they are experiencing issues. great way to draw in business and stay afloat, not

Just have look again on a slightly wider picture ...
and if the candles are different to what's on your chart ... well,
that's not my fault if you can not recognise the range bars.

1. I certainly am seriously considering that option, however, with all your trading experience, I'm sure that you fully apprciate it is not as easy to close an account, move money, open account and deposit money, regulations to be met, forms to sign and fax, prove just who you are with passport etc. - get what I mean, not a decsion to take lightly and made even harder to implement while overseas, and still trying to trade which is why I have an account in the first place - don't worry, slow time Christmas is fast approaching & I will be unsubscribed from this thread.

2. No one here asked Chris to email personally, I'm sure they have office flunky to do that, they have no problem sending out bulk advertising emails on a regular basis - it is called CUSTOMER SUPPORT

dare : ok bud, you are correct. liquidity was fine. everyone else who can see the friggin charts were asleep with their normal m1 charts and not your range bars are wrong.

callisto : you can put having multiple accounts down to risk management. if your broker goes down, or their feed gets shitty (sound familiar?) then you can simply open a different broker platform and keep on truckin'. in a perfect world you wouldn't have to consider this, but it's not a perfect world.

and, customer support, as you put it, only gets you so much. it's not going to change anything by emailing everyone that the spread happens to be wider than normal. everyone can SEE that with their own eyes as soon as they load mt4... so extra work on chris's side equates to nothing more than lip service which results in no tangible benefits to everyone else apart from the fact that they see chris jumping through hoops for nothing.... and once they see him do that then it'll be some other whining and whatnot expecting him to do this, and then do that, and then so on and so forth.

at some point people need to realize that go are their broker, not their servants. they have their own shit to get on with i'm SURE. i suspect that go simply are NOT as 'big' as people would imagine them to be. for all we know chris might be doing the role of 5 different people. that's business, and that's life.

bottom line is i think people should just back up, prioritize, and really focus on the real issues... not some feel-good desire for chris to be in their pocket 24/7. seriously, he goes away for a week and everyone starts on with the nonsense and whining that he isn't personally replying to 100 different people.

not affiliated in any way. but, i have worked in customer service... have you? i suspect not, else you'd understand.

just ask yourself, when was the last time you had an email from go about something wrong? the only recollection i have is lately when the website was down. when was the last time facebook, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, forex factory, (insert any other online presence) emailed you regarding some temporary issue they were having?

everywhere has issues, and if it's not one thing it is another, but they don't all jump through hoops detailing to everyone their shortcomings. period.

I found most of brokers recently have high spread on EU, I ran a rest in last three days.

Result showing all of them: fxdd fxcm OA forex gom.... had 2-3 hours the spread was higher than 4 !

Anyone has a precise testing tool for spread check?

I need the report by each minutes.

Bad or good, the data will tell the turth.

BTW, I hate floating spreads~! more and more brokers are using it now. That makes the backtesting unreliable.

With only 20 posts, you obviously not here long enough to "know" nubcake, he always plays Devil's Advocate, deliberately stirs the pot, tries to get people upset, have them call him names and such, that is how he gets his jollies, stay calm, ignore him, that really gets him worked up!!!

He doesn't even have a dog in this fight, that should tell you something!

I have heard elsewhere that backtesting is based on only partial data anyhow so is not very accurate? Even live testing on a demo account can give different results to real trading. Hopefully someone else will have a spread info thing. That would be interesting. All I know is that 7am aussie time is often a big yawing spread!

so go somewhere else then... spend your money elsewhere. don't keep going to macdonalds and ordering a six inch sub then complaining about it and wanting to speak to the manager every time. typical response is typical. of course the other businesses provide their services to you for 'free' and purely out of the goodness of their hearts

you get more service from go than you signed-up for. chris can leave the factory forever for all i care, and i'd totally appreciate why he might do so. there's no point trying to appease you people when the natural workings of everyday business will resolve itself one way or another, with or without you and with or without your inane complaints and whatnot.

everyone wants something for nothing, and everyone wants things their way and personally customized to suit their wants. what no one seems to realize is that business will just keep proceeding along it's own course no matter what anyone says.

anyway, this all started because some dipshit was bitching about the spreads during a clearly shit time of the market that any noob could see. someone else just advised that other brokers ALSO had WORSE spreads lately and it's not just gom. so stick that in your pipe and smoke it people.
