Yeah, this is a much bigger deal than people realize yet. Never mind the huge unwinds coming, or the houses and floor brokers who can't clear. The bond markets don't like this kind of thing; see the EFSF trade-like-a-turd auction today.

Oh, and then there's the fact MF was a primary dealer. Repos? Derivatives? One time a rat chewed a ConEd cable in downtown, and the power went out to BoNY while they were clearing treasuries. At that moment they were only like 13B out of balance, but if the Fed hadn't given them the money, they would have failed. And the fail-to-delivers put the repo into a uproar for days. True story, you can probably even Google it; it was a serious traumatic incident for a lot of guys still working.

dont get too comfortable 3954.8 .. i will figure the Lm and post .. but it appears its what stopped the bulls atm

I recall a story along those lines, and yes its a big deal anytine time you take someone out who clears alot of paper...

i was hoping for 3975.5 again.. pa (purple) with a less reliable set up targets 3972... the lower mofu atm to 3972 is giving pa problems with the bullish bounce.

i changed a typo.. to 3972.. 3975.5 is a bigger s/r... i look for a setup, either way.. but have more confidence in a s setup at 3975/76 area. stops are obvious.
