Big US housing news coming out right now. Markets are going crazy, as expected. But I've been laying in wait since last night where my last CZ was formed (chocolate colored box). Proof that news helps this system. I welcome the added volatility.

Looks like acfuc took over this thread trying to show us how clever he is, now i see FX Hard has made an entry after 5 days to probably try and keep it allive. Most of the traders that visited here in the beginning have probably now realized that the CZ zones that you are trading are nothing more than inactivity during the Asian session, they are certainly not consolidation between Bulls and bears, these Guys are all asleep during the Asian session. What you call "nothing more" I called 1700 pips last week.

After initial discussion and development of an OP's strategy, there comes a point in all threads when there really isn't that much to add. I think we've reached that point. Doesn't mean it's a bad strategy.

FH, I am now in a G/U long trade. If you are in this trade and it does not hit the SL or TP today, will you keep it over the weekend or close the trade today?

Unless you're long term trading, it would be advisable to close it by the end of the day on Friday, otherwise you risk having a large gap and your stop being hit when trading starts up on Sunday/Monday.

I for one have to take an issue about johnvr's posting as it is evident he has a pre-conceived idea of what the SSBO is, (apparently from some other breakout system) and also he would have made a more intellegent posting regarding his criticism had he spent any time examining postings and charts shown on this thread.

To state the SSBO CZ s are only during none activity of the Asian session is so far off base I couldn't believe he wrote that. There are plenty of examples of CZ's appearing in other time zones. And then to state that it was only the bulls fighting the bears or visa versa (which usually doesn't happen during the Asian session) that creates a 'significant' CZ was again in error if one looks at the relative primary importance of FH's CZs.

When bulls fight the bears you almost always find that that 'CZ box' is considerably larger than what Forexhard is looking for. The bulls make significant trades causing a spike, then soon afterwards the bears counter the trade and the spike retraces - which almost always causes a confusing AND much larger 'box'. Lastly, it is absolutely of no importance the cause of the small box (once again stating Johnrv's interpretation of lack of activity on the Asian Session). It's the result of a small CZ that we are looking for to check for set-ups for possible trades. And the bottom line is a small CZ is exactly what we are looking for, and yes, a small box is ALWAYS lack of activity Johnrv! Who cares what caused it?

I was showing charts of trades I took after there was a lot of criticism for the method. The only thing I am clever for is finding and following a great system!
There are good and bad trades in my posting's but overall its a VERY positive method. ( I use the method in combination with two others everyday, successfully!)
If you would of bothered to read the posts in the thread thoroughly and try the system out for yourself you may of realized, but I doubt it!
Why bother writing negative bullshit about something you probably don't even understand... Sad!!!

It amazes me that people are attacking the ONE SYSTEM here at FF that today is still exactly the same as it was on day one. Not one thing has changed. Squalou added an indicator to help identify the CZ's with, but this only enhanced what was already being taught. The indi didn't actually change anything.

Some haters just have too much time on their hands, I guess.

If there is another free system in here that hasn't changed AT ALL in the first 120 days (and 114 pages) I'd like to know the name.

Hi Forexhard,

Just read all 114 pages and I must say this methodology is very well thought out. As an experienced trader I can see where the CZs would really help stack the odds in your favor when taking a trade. Even just eyeballing the CZs they make for great support and resistance areas to take trades after the initial breakout.

FXH has put forth a lot of time and effort to share his knowledge with the FF viewers. He has certainly given back to the community.

OzzieDave makes a great observation - That price will often return to the CZ zone after the initial break.

I always look for PA to re-test after the initial break. This area I look to either add positions or reduce risk.

Anyone catch this little move down? Break and pullback into the CZ and then a straight shot down to the monthly support level in red. If we get a pullback into the red zone and another move down where will it stop. My guess would be the top of the lower CZ around 1.3940.

Note: On chart it should read possible support area. My bad.

I am in this AUDUSD trade. Going well due to BOJ intervention, though, still nice.

Been using this system/indy & follow the thread for 3 months with very positive results.. I believe most of the first members of this thread is already benefit a lot from this ..I'm not posting anymore since i believe the system already work & for those who wants to learn just hv to read from 1st page and till last page ..Everything's already there..Good Luck All !!

I can help you along alittle futher with your system her place the daily pivots on your chart and watch for price to consolidate at the pivot level then wait for price to breakout of that consoliadtion at the pivot points take the direction of the break and pay close attention the normal ranges of the moves on the pivot points at M1-M3 or M2-M4 and if it starts out at the Central Pivot then most of time target S1 or R1 and if it does start at Central Pivot most times it will be a range bound day bouncing several times off the S-1 to central and R-1 to central pivot giving several 50-100 pip trading oppurtunies in 1 day I specialize in the EUR/USD and even on days it is in tight range if my market bais is right I'll catch atleast 50 pips but I also trade from 8pm Tokoy open till the 11:30am ST London close so I am a trade aholoc I do nothing but eat sleep and trade forex from 8pm Sunday till 4pm Friday if your brand new I would suggest you specilize in one pair at first get the just of that pair I mean really know it inside and out then add more pairs and learn them inside and out as you progress in your trading carrer and become an discpline instinctive trading professional once you get to that level you only need one or two different trading set-ups for the range and trending market conditions and you'll make a very nice living in forex. I started trading a mini account with $5000 and every1000 pips I made I moved up a mini lot till I got to 10 mini lots then I went to 1 standard lot you'll be suprised how fast you move up in size once you become discpline in your style and only take A++ trades by being patient and following a business plan to the T once you get into the bigger volume you may want to look for a forex broker that offers a active trader pip spread discount that really will cut down the cost of business and help with your ROI and (P@L) people don't realize how high a spread they pay in forex becuase it isn't considered a so called commission but it is and if your on a broker that average spread is 2-3 pips once your get to the standard contract size 1 lot is a $20-30 commission alot of brokers have an active trader program where if you place atleast $10 million in forex volume a month then the cut the spreads to a fraction such as .1-.2 pips spread which cut your cost of business down greatly. When you become a true forex professional and start trading in size as your account balance moves up the 2-3 pip spread business model just cost to much out of ROI and your volume will easly excede the 10 million volume requirment.
